@Terallis - I added this mod the other day and saw my 5 minute load time with over 700 mods to 25 minutes and went through to remedy this because that's insane. I deduced it was this mod after reviewing the mods I had recently added (no others seemed heavy). I'm glad I saw your comment as this gives me the validation that it probably is this mod.

The only help I have is:

- 457338.456ms (85%) (self: 457338.456 ms) 96912x Verse.ThingDef -> Void <PostLoad>b__398_0()
- 42463.578ms (7.9%) (self: 42463.578 ms) 102259x Verse.BuildableDef -> Void <PostLoad>b__78_0()

Unsure if this helps but it looks like it does something on like every ThingDef.

So, interestingly when seeing comments from 2023, the mod continues to have issues with the game loading process, in the XML applications. Causes it to hang on the PatchOperationInsert for a while, then hangs for a bit on Resolving XML Inheritance. Managed to get it to load after over an hour.

Initially didn't think much of it, since it mainly just adds more furniture, but the Startup Impact showed it as adding more than 10 minutes to the load time. However, after removing the mod, suddenly my TOTAL load time went from close to an hour and twenty minutes... to less than twenty minutes. I'm really not sure what's in the mod, if it was originally set up poorly, ported poorly, or similar. But it does seem to be a major impact on startup time and XML patching.

@Dayder No idea why you are having that issue. There is only two patches in this mod, one for royalty and one for the Loft-beds mod. In testing there is no such load-spike. If you can find out what other mod is triggering it I can take a look.

I too have a problem like Tearous has, but worse (due to the sheer number of mods that I have, I guess).
The game takes forever to apply patches with this mod.

@Tearous I use this myself and see no such spike in loading time. Have 300~ mods and have a total loadtime of under 400s.

Really nice mod.I like your design.But I think this mod spends too much time to apply patches so that it takes me 400 more seconds(250s -> 600s) until I see the main menu...

Something I have noticed is when burning a corpse the clothes and armor don't burn and end up pilled on the floor and somehow isn't tainted.

So whats the difference between this version and the "other" version that splits up Un-furniture and Un-colony?

Is it just the smaller supply chain with Vanilla materials and a few extra furniture parts? Same textures and functionality?

For whatever reason, none of the research upgrade furniture like the blueprint table or the archival cabinet links to the research benches OR the vanilla ones.

What are the odds that I can transfer smoothly from "UN-Colony [1.2]" to this mid-game?

Would it be smarter to launch the game, activate both mods, load, save, deactivate the older mod and load the save
OR
replace the old mod in the list and load the save?
Anyone got experiences with that kind of switcharoo?

Great work Mlie, as always. Is there a chance/ possibility to implement a particular line of code that would automatically patch all the buildings (including vanilla and other mods) so that the original resources from Un-Colony mod will be only used?
