Nice little ship, but i needed more power so i smashed two together added a pair of engine rooms and a tiny amount of cargo space. thanks for the design :)

Then you can just park it somewhere, strip it of almost all crew and it effectively becomes a station anyway.

Too huge cargo ship is very slowly for fleet

I might make stations eventually. However, I don't see them having any function that a dedicated factory ship cannot also perform. If it's just to dump stuff, you can do that with a huge cargo ship too, which is why my supply ships have expandable cargo bays.
