This is a stupidly GREAT hat, but it just doesn't belong on the hippie-hating Soldier. It would fit the scout way better. I still voted yes tho

It looks good, it just doesn't fit Soldier at all. The man is a 50 something year old war crazed maniac who notoriously hates hippies. Someone else made a hippie set for Soldier before but that works because it's a Halloween cosmetic, meaning that anything can really go. I also feel like the style is way too modern. I don't think many people had nose piercings nor did older men have long hair in this style in the late 60s and early 70s.

I’m not a fan of this item. It just seems so irrelevant to the soldier and not something that fits him or any tf2 mercs apart from maybe scout. Even then it’s just another beanie hat. Good work though, you got some great skills

Add a third "radical" style. We have the 60s and mid 2000s, so why not the late 90s?

The fact that it so blatantly goes against his character is what makes it funny in context imo, unlike the edgy style which just doesn't fit in general.
Plus it just looks really cool.

I really appreciate the effort that went into making this hat, but since the comments have stated this goes against Soldier's character and considering he hates hippies. I'm gonna have to vote no on this one. Sorry.
