I really don't like how it hides sniper's entire model, you should be able to see him inside the bush at least slightly. Hell, at least have his hat sit on top of the bush.

I would like if the bush had a price tag or something on it to make it easier to tell this isn't a real bush.

I love the concept, but I just think this would be another box trot situation with the additional issue of it actually blending in with good positions.

Since theres bushes on many maps i dont think this is a good idea

i could see some stupid (but funny) bits with this and i do play sniper more than spy so i would use this more that the spy box

it's a bad idea, turns taunt into pay to win, you're not supposed to use props as a disguise.

I think this would need to be updated to make the sniper actually somewhat visible in the bush, or hiding behind literally a cardboard bush so it's easier to spot.

It is goofy. But not the goofy for tf2. This is IN YOUR FACE goofy. TF2’s goofiness is subtle things like one liners from the mercs. Tf2 is somewhat cartoony but not Looney Tunes. No. This should not be in the game.

@Anton Chigurh Still valve's choice to add it no? They could refuse or do it. Sniper himself is not that powerful compared for example to a taunt able to hide a heavy or a pyro right?

Snipers use ghilie outfits to hide and become walking bushes, why not right?

show me which leyendecker pieces look like the heavy weapons guy and with his stubby legs and massive vibrant bullets first... they had different concept artists for the environments and for the characters and each one had extensive work put into having different rendering pipelines. none of the environments in tf2 have the stylized phong and "toon" shading the characters have. nearly all of the props are sized for humans, while the mercenaries have massively oversized hands. and at the end of the day, the taunt is hardly even cartoony anyway, it was literally based off of real life acted motion by the animator

the maps are inspired by illustrative american art, using broad painterly styles to create subdued backgrounds. the characters are cartoony. they have extremely unrealistic proportions and highly saturated colors, alongside a forced stylized rimlight to keep them separate from the world they're in. this is on purpose so that they stick out from the environment they fight on. you will not find a tabloid scan from the 40's that shows a man shaped like the Heavy Weapons Guy operating a dishwasher
