I thought I made your change. I told it to give the generated mothers no dynasty. Is it not working? I probably should have checked before uploading...

Is a change like the one I suggested still viable, even as a separate optional version of the mod?

@Benedict Huh, I wouldn't have considered that a thing that would bother anyone. Maybe it's because my own last name is so common in reality. As I said, I think I can make that change, but you might also look into suggesting more dynasty names on the EK2 Discord.

@lewa263 Exactly that, and the main reason being that a lot of surnames get repeated very quickly at the moment given the pool, which means a lot of mothers get generated with already existing surnames. That's my main gripe

@Benedict What do you mean by that? Are you interested in having the generated mothers be lowborn instead of having their own generated dynasties? That can probably be done, though I don't know why it would be wanted.

Is there a chance a version of this mod can be made that generates lowborn mothers?

The 0.11.0 release of EK2 includes the prevention of family generation for characters with artificial lifespans (though they missed Haknir), which is nice. I rewrote my triggers to use their new artificial lifespan character flag.

I would also recommend giving generated characters higher-tier lifespan traits since I keep seeing 500 year old mothers with the Lifespan III trait who die the moment I unpause the game.

Oh, good catch. I blocked generating whole families for the immortal or unnaturally long-lived characters, but I was still generating missing parents for those who have scripted children (I think Divayth is the only one, currently). I'll get that fixed shortly.

I noticed that your second features allows the generation of mothers who gave birth to their child well outside of their fertility window. Also, is it possible for you to give certain characters (like Divayth Fyr, whose "daughters" are his clones) a flag to prevent the mod from generating undefined spouses for them?

I got angry at the devs a few too many times in their own house, basically.
