In 1.4 there was an obvious issue with how roof eaves rendered but, the picture in the mod's description is not really the best to show the the problem. The building is highlighted along the left hand side, when really it should be the south where the render problem can be seen much easier.
Basically, 1.4 had a glaringly obvious issue with eave shadows in vanilla, and Perspective: Eaves fixed that problem by darkening the roof shadow as can be seen in the link below:
1.4 comparison >>> https://ibb.co/C3N6QWXj
The shadow cast my the building in the picture is truncated close to the building where the lighter roof eave shadow is. But in 1.5 they changed up how they implement shadowing, and now it is no longer an issue, making this mod obsolete.
All a 1.5 update would do is slightly darken the eave shadows

Oh well, it isn't a must-have mod for me.
Does anyone else not see any difference between the pics? :(
Not my intention to hit on the mod, just laughing at my age.

I didn't expect so much support for my question. you are really nice guy in this community! I'm gonna try those methods. Thank you for your time.
Wow that's fast response! Thank you for the answer. Understood. I hope this limitation solved in the future, this mod is too good to miss! I love your work. ^^
But when I have this mod in my load order, rain and snows ignore outdoor roof, rendering on those roofed tiles.
I tend to build open warehouse which has roof but no door, then I noticed this.
When I remove this mod from load order, snow and rain cease to ignore outdoor roofs.
Do I also need to output log?
Oh. :(
Me: Have I ever noticed that this is a problem?
Also Me: No. I doubt I'd even notice if I installed this mod.
Me: What if I notice now that Owlchemist has pointed it out?
Also Me: Ooh, good point. Better install it, just to be safe.
