BTW. Man those Nurgle and Slaanesh daemons look fantastic, i only got Nurgle to first tier of rewards and full on Slaanesh, but jesus christ .... they loop epic
If you go Slaanesh, you get seduce units budget like 300% (this has to be bugged btw, it keeps changing randomly, whenever i have money, budget is like 2000, when i dont have money, budget is like 8000), seduce unit cost slower, the cults, etc.
I think you get it now.
As it is right now, i think CA really dropped the ball on this. Your mod fixes so much, and it is probably the definite experience for Chaos Daemons players like myself (I play them on 40k, so this mod is like my wet dream).
If you go Undivided you get full access to Undivided and all of the other deities.
Now where is the catch ? why would anyone go anything but undivided ? Simple.. With Undivided you'd get all of the units you get that are undivided, plus all of the minor daemons, plus as bigger units the dragon ogres, so you'd have it all right? you would also have Teleport, Plague, seduce units and bloodthirst, plus the Undivided Divine Interventions. What could possibly going only Nurgle give me?
This is where it makes for a more interesting gameplay loop. CHOICE.
You absolutely nailed so many stuff. The mod is great. I did a full run up to full glory with Slaanesh. The armor was great, and indeed, the painter mod kind of goes hand to hand with this one.
I would like to try to share some vision with you if you agree to move the mod forward, be it by a submod if you want or changes to the main mod.
Some of the changes are phylosophical issues with Daemons of Chaos, still to be touched.
For example. And this'd be the most lore accurate: Once you've gone all-in with a god, you SHOULD lose all access to the other deitys, and should only have access to the first tier of Undivided. If you go Undivided then you get to keep ALL of the lower tiers of deity gods.
Ive tested it yesterday, and i gotta tell you, its one of the best work ive seen on WH3. But its a pity how some design choices make this really hard to play.
I only increased gold and growth rate and it basically fixes it. (Only touched the horde buildings), since Daemons of Chaos economy is trash in vanilla, so this Horde building had to give a lot of money, the final building being 16 population may have been an oversight ?, i bumped growth by each settlement, at 5 on the earlier buildings, more on the bigger ones, if not, at turn 100 i was still at 7 population, to get to 16 would have needed so many more turns)
Ill update and upload the submod (with only the tables touched indeed), after they've patched 6.3.
Would you mind if i make an OP/Easymode mod, using your mod as base ?
I would tweak numbers here and there, give more income, etc.
If not, then thats ok, i wont upload, but keep it for personal use
(paying 2000 favor for a tier 4 building, 400 favor a turn, income is brutal)
How are you supposed to make money?
Could you please remove the animation like with other passive abilities?
