This is a Mutation. You have to select Mutation game mode (instead of Single Player/Coop/Versus/etc), left click on Mutation to bring up the options. Select: Change Mutation to bring up the mutations list (Make sure the filter is set to 4 player or Any) and select the mutation off the list.

Hey do i have to issue a console command to execute this mod or is it automatic? Im asking because all the L4D2 special infected are still in the game after activating this mod...

There is already a standard mutation called L4D1 Coop, which has the tagline Oldschool coop. Which most people think is called Oldschool (since it runs the game like L4D1). So I don't plan on making another one.

Question, are you gonna make an oldschool mutation, or is there already one?

Thank you for this. L4D2's special infected are one of the main reasons I prefer playing L4D1 instead.

Svide: Old School (Actually named L4D1-Coop) removes the L4D2 weapons. Making the game play more like L4D1. This only removes the special infected, leaving the L4D2 weapons. It is similar to Old School, but it has different rules, and hence it is different Mutation.

Well it's not Old School, which is the tagline for the L4D1-Coop mutation. Changing their behavior to match L4D1 is not what was requested. Again I just threw this together because someone requested it.
