also converted the UV beam to a hyperium anti-shield weapon (weaker disruptor, faster bulletspeed).
i dont feel 100% comfortable with uploading something that is just modified version of someone elses work, but if anyone want to fix this for themselves so you wont crash from using this all you have to do is edit this:

Hyperium isn't as much of an issue for me as I created several mods that increase the amount of hyperium I can mine (most notible mods are Mineable Megaroids and its Hyperium add-on).

Deck cannon is r e a l l y big.
Disruptors already pass through active shields, so you can do the same with this weapon as well
In the meantime I've been working on an update with a factory to manufacture hyperium infused bullets.
It consumes normal bullets and hyperium.
But it's not done yet.
Regardless, interesting addition to the game, because as others have noted, it's really easy to have huge amounts of hyperium once you get a mining laser. In fact, it'd be nice if there were systems that used other mined resources as fuel/ammo, like mass drivers that consume steel, but this is a good start.
Maybe you could convert hyperium into inner energy somehow to power the gun, but i am unsure yet if that would be possible.
Also, several weapons use fractional amounts of energy, so presumably the game can parse fractional amounts of other resources, given that power is literally just the Batteries resource.
Haven't actually tried if you can do like 0,1 or something.

But I'm not really completely satisfied with it because hyperium is so valuable.
I'm thinking about adding a new resource and a factory to create hyperium enriched ammo or something in that direction.
So, that you would use hyperium and ammo to create a higher quantity than using the hyperium directly.
Hyperium is pretty valuable.
I'm thinking about adding a factory to this, so you would produce hyperium enriched ammo to use with the weapon.
That way 1 hyperium could produce like 4 ammo or something.
