yes they did... before they went bankrupt... the locomotive was sold at auction to the Valley Railroad in CT.

the description is wrong... you said 3 locomotives are in the states... which is wrong, SY1647m (NYSW 142), SY1658m (New Haven 3025) are in the USA. 1 SY class which was going to the states was lost on transit when the boat it was on sank in the Indian ocean due to a storm.

I had a book as a youngster...well, I still have it...of a bunch of SYs being freshly built in Chinese shops, and then loads of photos of them fully painted alongside the QJs working the steelworks. It's fantabulous to have this in game at last, thank you!
