I would've personally made it a beard with crumbs in it and a gingerbread theme as an alternative style. Just so players have an option for all year round. Nice model though!

This is a bit too festive-y for my taste, not the worst festive hat out there (cough cough Seasonal Spring). A good positive is this is a Scout beard, which is quite funny.

@jazzisnotdead i disagree that there's "room for everything." in tf2's in-game developer commentaries, it becomes obvious that a heavy amount of thought and effort went into ensuring that tf2's style was visually appealing. there are just some things that dont fit with its style, and this hat is unfortunately one of those things in my opinion

@maskingdark that sounds better, but i would still hate to see this on some classes. scout for example should never have a significant amount of facial hair. it goes against his character, which is someone who pretends to be manly by showing off his tiny arms

While I'm personally not a big fan of this cosmetic, I think that constructive criticism is gonna help more than just saying "this sucks delete this", so mind the soapbox im standing on while i give some feedback. I don't think this item is inherently poorly designed, rather that the theme is overdone and most tf2 players would rather have a cosmetic be usable year-round. I also think alot of people are seeing this cosmetic and getting flashbacks to the cardboard gnome cosmetics from the year prior. If I had to suggest a potentially better idea, perhaps changing the item from a beard made out of gingerbread, to a beard with crumbs in it. Beards can be used year-round, and if you really like the gingerbread theme, you could make and alternate style with frosting and gumdrop buttons and stuff like that in the crumbs too. It could be usable on Heavy since he eats alot of sandviches, or even maybe Demo and Engie since they have the meme of being drunk/lazy couch potatoes.

It is hard to believe that this cosmetic came after Fist of justice set

It looks ok on the candy crown. That's about it. I'm a picky loadout diva and it be hard to find other loadouts to go with this. MAYBE the citizen cane or smissmas sorcerer.
