Good mod, love every part of it, but plz add 2x zoom/scope magnification to the Assault RIfle.

Sidenote, could be cool if all unarmored units have less health, so they drop dead with 2-4 shots at 100% damage/resistance, from any gun, even if no headshot.

the mod hasn't been touched since march, you've somehow broken it on your end. i just loaded it up and audio and the loadout menu work fine. unsub and resub will force it to redownload.

probably for the better. When I saw all the warnings and someone telling Six to wake up, I thought I was on the path for a "Six in cave" type of ending lol. That being said, I did really enjoy the overall tension that easter egg brought to it

yeah that's why i called it "true ending", not necessarily "good ending".

Minor update: HUD now no longer gets cut off no matter your HUD setting (edge/centered), i recently got a steam deck and it was really cut off on certain things. Didn't realise how bad it was until i saw it myself so @Rossay will be happy.

@spesmarine, "Ever?" yes, it's in production. "When?" when it's done, irl stuff has been taking up time lately.

this mod is seriously awesome. Kinda like a companion piece to the campaign mission. Will you ever make another firefight mod?

@rossay a fix isn't "planned" per se, but if i do end up fixing it with my next map i'll update sundance too.

hey, the mod itself is amazing, I'm really happy I can finally play Firefight on Lone Wolf, it is a ton of fun. However, it appears that the re-arranged HUD elements go partially out of screen. My experience is on the Steam Deck (I've tried both 16:9 and 16:10), but I've seen the same small issue on YouTube videos, so I'm assuming it's not a Deck-specific problem. Is a fix for this planned? It would make this mod basically perfect.

I don't want to spoil anything but I found all three but then after the messages I died a few seconds later mostly because i was confused and unprepared, but is that the easter egg or did I miss something?

The recent update to the MCC ended up breaking a ton of maps again.

Finally tracked that down and fixed it, just uploaded the fix. Was part of a hud mod i tried to do but couldn't without also changing haloreach.dll

The hud messages, the thing that says "Double kill!" and the such. The easter egg uses that to convey information.

That's the true ending, it's meant to switch off firefight and emulate Lone Wolf, get swarmed till you die.

Had a lot of fun with this but is the true ending you just getting swarmed by hard as hell elites? or is there another step?

I'm gonna have to edit the strings because people keep thinking it goes to a door somewhere. It doesn't, it's just the default string for the button i used. Pay attention to the area next to your armor ability, it gives you hints as to where to find the other two buttons.

Does it despawn after that wave ends or something?
