@Ash not sure what the issues is. i'm intended to update this for 1.6, but i don't guarantee it will be out before 1.6, nor that i can fix whatever is happening for you. it did work fine for my testing in 1.5, but i never got around to setting up a full mod list for 1.5 so i haven't played much

this is not working correctly in 1.5. I have 105% resist and my colonists are still getting toxicity as if they had no protection.

@MichalP it won't conflict but i never got around to setting it up for VE. use FSF tweaks for that.

@NiKaRus hmm.... i tested in 1.4 and it seemed fine there but it's possible that either something changed or i tested badly. i'll test again later, but if it requires biotech then there's isn't anything i can do to make it not require biotech

From what I could gather the reason why it wasn't actually protecting me is because the toxic resistance Stat doesn't actually get put in calculation unless you have biotech enabled which I did not

@NiKaRus i assume this is in 1.5? this is a pretty straight forward patch, so unless you're using non-vanilla armour or the armour is getting patched by another mod, i'm not sure. it's also possible that something changed with between 1.5 unstable and 1.5 proper. additionally, this does not protect against toxic attacks (toxic resistance), only toxic environmental effects (toxic environment resistance). toxic resistance protects against both, but, at least in 1.4, environment resistance only protected against stuff like tox gas and toxic fallout.

i have all of my guys in power armor and it seems like they are still getting toxic build up, the armor description even states that its supposed to be working

that means vanilla has 0 toxic resistance at all (which PA used to have), so if the event still occurs in vanilla, then player would need to be well prepared, otherwise get turbo ♥♥♥♥♥. Even this mod can't save the situation

Hey can anyone confirm Toxic Fallout is still a vanilla event or Biotech exclusive? I just do some tests with this mod, the value only works when Biotech is activated. (for those who are curious why I did this, you can go check the xml of Core's war veil, it's the only gear has"ToxicEnviornmentResistance" in vanilla, and the value is marked as MayRequire="Ludeon.RimWorld.Biotech"

If its toxic resistant, shouldn't it be dependant to Biotech DLC? I am not trying to say that it should be locked to biotech but simply loading it without the pollution might be pointless

This is exactly what I was looking for. It makes no sense to me why there wouldn't be a filtration unit in a full power armor suit like Cataphract armor. I appreciate this so much. Thank you sir.

@Victor i think i know what the error is about, i have no idea why i'm getting the error as i have conditionals that should prevent it. i had the same issue with another one of my mods, and with one load order the patches would work fine but give the error and in the other load order the patch would not error but would not fully work. i have no idea what is going on, but i checked with Prestige Specialist Armours and everything seems to work so i'm not going to put more time into it at this point.

@Victor i'll take a look at it. i ran into weird issues with another mod i made that produced errors but functioned in one order and did not produce errors but did not entirely function in the opposite order. likely the same issue here. I'm not sure i can fix it, but i'll look at it again when i have time.

You are patching a the def and the basedef, which makes it have the same node twice after inheritance. Perhaps adding Inherit="False" could fix it?

Very Reasonable MOD THX - Didnt understand why there are No Filters inside HighTech Suites and you have to alter Pawns with Bionic Lungs & Armour them... :steamthumbsup:

@Diced if i put resistance on gunlink, that was completely unintentional and it must inherit from the same base as one of the others. i will check that.

Is it possible to remove toxic resistance from gunlink? It makes sense for full helmets, but gunlink is just a glorified google glass.

The mod throws an error when loading the game without Royalty because it still tries to change the cataphract helmet and armor
