Use the custom campaign options to set all projects to 100% unlock from now on
There is a line in the TIGlobalConfig.json that says:
"disableUnlockChances": false
Setting this to true should work similiarly to what this mod is trying to achieve. It won't help with unlocking tech you have already "skipped" though
Sometimes when i get event popups and click on something (close, continue, literally click any button on screen) my game freezes for a bit and crashes with no log. happens about every 1-2 hours.
Thanks for the heads up. I just checked and the latest patch brought out 5 new projects (711 in current patch Vs 706 in my mod).
I have just updated the mod for the new projects so it should cover everything now.
Im not sure how TI handles an updated mod, you may have to disable the mod then enable it again to force the changes to be carried over.
From my preliminary analysis you just need to patch this: TemplateManager.global.disableUnlockChances
But it should be tested afterwards, to check if game behaves as planned.
I cant replicate the issue. You got any other mods installed? Have you checked the log for a clue about what is crashing it?
To sucesfully install a mod, enable and restart the game for each mods.
I had some issues and i'm trying to get cues of it being installed corectly without having to research things again and again just to test compatibility.
I want to make a mod where every project is unlocked either the moment research is completed.
Yes, you can still get the techs by trading or stealing from other factions. But there is a chance that the tech may not unlock for you directly. I was not a fan of this change hence this mod.
