I'm sorry, but I really don't know what the reason is. Most likely you did something wrong during installation. Since the last update of the mod, jbmod hasn't been updated, so the mod couldn't have broken during this time

Ok i had installed it but spawnmenu wasnt working, just the controls that showed that you can modify the buttons from spawn menu but the spawn menu itself wasnt working

Should i copy the entire folder from steam>workshop>content>2158860>2884248613 to steam>steamapps>common>JBMod>jbmod or should i copy the files from each folder on 2884248613 and put them in the right folder? (ex: i pick the files from cfg from the folder named 2884248613 and put the files from this folder to jbmod cfg folder)

i removed portal and half-life maps from workshop because it violates copyright. you can install portal/hl2 and transfer maps manually

If after following all the instructions, absolutely nothing has changed in the game, then this most likely means that you followed the instructions incorrectly. if my mod is really broken, then in any case at least some of its features should work

The chat just says #HL2MP_Chat when anyone types, haven't experienced it myself but it seems to be this that causes it after looking at people who have the bug

On another note, the thirdperson weapon attachments are in the base-game now. You don't need to download it from the workshop anymore. You should remove it from the addon's requirements!!!!

If you search "HL2MP_Chat" you will not find it in this mod's version of the file, only in the base-game's version.

I'm pretty sure something about this addon breaks the game... A LOT...
in jbmod_english.txt, it's completely different from the basegame's file. If you install this mod, chat breaks completely.

I deleted the hl1 campaign because it violates copyright, so just transfer the maps from hl:s to the jbmod maps folder and enter map c0a0 in the console
