I found my answer to problems with dying in Levitation Chapter 3 - 1st verify all addon chapters, then had to go back in my game history dashboard at startup of Hal-Life Alyx and restart a previous saved sequence for the game. Basically, the train ride again - after getting onboard. Then, when I got to end of train with hole in roof, the ladder was there to go forward in game.

Chapter 3 - Fought my way to end of traveling train, killing all robot soldiers, only to be restarted on top of train back behind hole in roof. Cybot drones are flying in roof hole and able to shot them down. But, no way of re-entering through train roof hole, or go forward to blue shining roof ahead to find end of chapter - all I can do is jump off to ground, and unable to crawl through window to get back in train again??? Game is screwed up here - even verified game!

@Egotomy, you can also start a new game beginning from the chapter you were on. Up to you.

@FMPONE I did check and you are right, not all addons were enabled in the game. My two saves still refuse to load level 6 unfortunately. Will uninstall game and all addons, reinstall game and the 5 levitation parts and start again from scratch.

I am stuck at the end of the Chapter 5. The loading scene appears, but the loading animation does not show up, and I am stuck here. I have all 5 parts of the addon. Tried uninstalling all of them, reinstalling them, and starting a new save at chapter 5, but I am stuck there again. Any idea how to load chapter 6?

@That was You can start a new game from the chapter you were on. Not sure if the save file will work or not from before you enabled everything, it may not.

Why after I stop the train (Metro Dynamo), the game does not load the next level? I'm just standing in the ruins of Alyx's main screensaver with no visible sign of loading.

Of COURSE there's a Jeff section, why WOULDNT there be a Jeff section, my literal LEAST FAVORITE PART of the main game but at least Valve made it at least somewhat clear what each area's objective is.

Second jeff encounter: Let's put the player in a train car with FOUR DOORS, three of which are just props, and one of which leads to the hidey hole.

The only difference between these doors is the fact that one of them has HANDLES which a player panicking almost CERTAINLY won't notice until the third attempt. And then when they DO notice the handles and get into the hidey hole with moments to spare, FINALLY surviving the Jeff encounter in this cramped space, let's put a FULL WALL OF CHOKING SPORES in front of them. Oh, and while we're at it let's disable the player's ability to cover their mouth, so they HAVE to choke on the spores and attract the Jeff that's LITERALLY RIGHT THERE.

@JoeyMobBoss this is a known issue when falling down the ladder pit at the very end of Level 5 with continuous movement. We'll try to get a fix out soon. Thanks for your patience.

I just started chapter 6 of Levitation and suddenly continuous movement is not working. I'm using an hp reverb G2. I've never had a problem before in any other chapter nor the base game. Continuous movement is selected in the preferences menu but it is not working. Any help would be much appreciated. Levitation is incredible but not having continuous movement would significantly detract from my immersion and enjoyment.

I tried the old save from chapter 3 and it's actually much smoother, but it's corrupted, I can't go on in the subway.
I tried to load a chapter 2 save, but it won't let me advance to chapter 3.
We have to start again from chapter 1 then? All over again? No problem, it's a pleasure to play again, it's really cool.:steamthumbsup:

The third chapter, Dynamo Metro, is in dire need of optimization. Unlike the first two, everything is very slow.
