i figured that out, i was just asking if that was something that was intended or not
Radiosity Oct 15 @ 5:39am
Turn off the contact event in the mod's settings? Even then, you might still see VOID in some events unless you use a mod like No Disabled Factions in Quests (I forget the name, but it's something like this). You might also want to disable the expansion option, otherwise they might just conquer a random settlement and start expanding even if you've technically disabled them during world creation.
SolventMonk646 Oct 14 @ 8:37pm
Is it intended for the VOID faction to still exist even if you remove them from the faction pool when generating the planet? the VOID contact event still triggered and just spawned the faction in, no bases or anything, they are just in the faction list now
Radiosity Oct 14 @ 9:55am
No, only way to obtain is either knock VOID members down without killing, or raid one of their bases... and good luck with that :)
yn.dung Oct 14 @ 9:26am
can i craft those armor
Totally Not Ed Oct 13 @ 6:00am
They always in Early Game quests
AbsoluteGato Oct 13 @ 12:23am
hello, i need help with something. i have installed aotc, void, elite bionic framework, and no more lethal damage treshold. one of my pawns have full zenith bionics that adds ton of multiplication to their health but when he got shot by slug turret, the damage took 1/4 of his max health...
so what is going on? he should have tons of max health due to zenith bionics but 1 hit attack from a slug turret that happen to hit him manage to damage him significantly?
i posted this question in each of the mod pages just in case if anyone has the answer to this
provokedartist Oct 12 @ 9:11am
so kind of like the scp foundation but evil.exe, got it
Radiosity Oct 10 @ 7:37am
@Shadowdance - it's an intentional piece of code that makes the corpses vanish quickly. Probably so you can't easily butcher them for all that meat (even though it's not something you want pawns eating, it has a debuff even if cooked into a meal).

You can edit it in the mod's files if you want, I did. Open the mod folder, 1.6 > Defs, then open Defs_CorpseDecay.xml. Simply multiply the delayTicks a few times to make it longer before the corpse vanishes. I have it set to 15000~20000.

Ok maybe i missed it in the description, but why do all void items and creatures just disapear after they died? And can i turn this off? Thank you
Totally Not Ed Oct 9 @ 12:19am
They keep showing up early game. Also every mission about Supplies has them.
Six Feet Under Oct 6 @ 1:19am
Is there an update or message I'm missed for the new protocol? Since the old one doesn't work. Or has the protocol been disabled?

I just got done doing a Revolution route against the VOID using VOID storyteller with the Pandora mod. All I gotta say is that I had a blast destroying about 3 VOID settlements, before my super-settlement of like, 35 Colonists, got attacked by like 5 VOID Raids on the same day, which led to a 2 day siege where I had to micromanage who could get food and when, but in the end, Resistance was futile. Good mod!
AbsoluteGato Oct 2 @ 6:05pm
this might be a stupid question. is there a way to use the huge creature gestator (forgot the name) for our personal use? i just want to tame so many monsters the void have and the item for taming them are quite rare.
can the hostile creatures be tamed through forceful heal bond (attacking them until downed and heal them)?
Chromium Oct 2 @ 4:57am
KΞNTΛR weakness is a choice
KΞNTΛR Oct 1 @ 10:13am
@Chromium Or they can choose the third option: Nerf the mod and have fun, because it's THEIR version of the game and not yours.
jadabandon Sep 30 @ 12:01am
People who feel this mod is too difficult just do as I do, wait with activating this mod until you have researched and built up everything and reached as much end game tech as possible.
MegaPro1921 Sep 29 @ 1:31pm
Will we get a void scenario?
Tremos Sep 27 @ 2:50pm
It might upset the "git gud" nerd but there is a mod called nerf the void that might make it more what you are looking for beep from Kenshi
Chromium Sep 27 @ 2:07am
Nope, this is VOID, you either get gud and survive or not play with it at all
i know this is an oxymoron, but is there a mod or some way to make void balanced? Love the concept and the content, but it's not even a fun kind of difficult. just sucks.
Six Feet Under Sep 24 @ 8:00am
What is the voidtech space implants for? I gave it to a colonist in orbit in devmode to see it's effect, but it didn't protect against vacuums, so I'm now lost on it's purpose.
Crouton Sep 14 @ 8:42pm
so ive actually been playing dead frontier a lot recently, and after looking at the wiki a bit after seeing how much damage a leaper does, i dont feel like the N4 infected at the very least in this mod are strong enough. Thats all im gonna say.
hellmagus666 Sep 14 @ 8:09am
@UselessGoddess69 Maybe remove the mod from your save and reinjecting it inside will fix it?
theindieoracle Sep 14 @ 4:48am
V.O.I.D watches all.
ItsBobu Sep 7 @ 10:19pm
@cheese fight OP mods with OP mods. Glittertech has a building that partially negates solar flares
Chromium Sep 7 @ 5:42am
Nope
UselessGoddess69 Sep 7 @ 4:03am
actually nevermind, it's not just the N4 infecteds standing still for no reason, its all of the monsters in the mod standing still for no reason
UselessGoddess69 Sep 7 @ 3:53am
Anyone having issues where the N-4 Infecteds not moving at all and just standing still for no reason.
Also does anyone have any issues to not see any info on them when you look up their stats?
legend Sep 6 @ 9:28pm
would be amazing if this had more monsters added
Chromium Sep 3 @ 5:21am
You cannot kill V.O.I.D.
V.O.I.D. is everywhere even underground
Aafli Sep 2 @ 9:26pm
I completely purged VOID off of the map in a playthrough and they still somehow managed to do a VOID expansion event. Rude.
DocHolliday Aug 31 @ 5:03pm
amazing regardless that obviously doesn't matter XD.
DocHolliday Aug 31 @ 5:03pm
the carbine is a rifle though lol.
freackyfreac Aug 30 @ 7:49pm
yeah that guy with resurrection implant abducted my colonist wich fell into unvoluntary deathrest. killed the guy abducting them and fought off others. well they stood up again and took that colonist again and yeeted off the map. i have bionic shocker jaws in all my colonists with can electrically shock enemies, wich knocks them unconcious for 3h. long story short: one of those ressurection implant is now in my other vampire wich kept on dying from making them older than 100 through chronophagy. it even heals melted brains. theyre 326 and 42 days now. trying to get them to their chronological age of 1796 years
Radiosity Aug 30 @ 4:30am
@Eric Cartman - Use Incident Tweaker, it picks up the VOID planet killer event like any other and can be set to 0% chance of triggering. Personally I've never had that happen, but I've seen others talk about it. Guess I just got lucky, heh.

@Neon - Put a butcher spot near the corpse, can't resurrect if you're no longer in a single piece. Or stick them in a cryptosleep casket, if you happen to have one from an ancient danger or whatever.
Chromium Aug 30 @ 3:39am
I recieved a 5 void agent drop pod raid with that thing, when the first one got up after we killed it I was like Hold up wait a minute, something ain't right😂
then we killed them again, then they got up again then I checked their health tab and saw that implant. in the end we just ate them :D
Neon Aug 30 @ 2:22am
How do you kill pawns with resurrection implant for good? Do I need to completely destroy their corpse? They keep resurrecting over and over
Chromium Aug 29 @ 3:19am
Zero to none :buzzed:
freackyfreac Aug 28 @ 5:56pm
so one of my pawns got abducted by void.. whats my chance to see them again?
Eric Cartman Aug 28 @ 3:46pm
Does 1.6 VOID still build planetkillers? If so anyway to stop that? Instead of destroying the settlement cause its usually across the map while im 2 days into a naked brutality game.
BurritoBitch Aug 25 @ 1:32am
It was at the start of the game for the first two quadrums, then it seemed to stop.
Chromium Aug 25 @ 1:30am
Indeed, it should say 'wandered in', honestly I get Void or N4 raids pretty rarely, perhaps because I have a ton of other race mods installed and the games takes one faction ranomly from the pool.
I even have the multiple raids mod which spawns 1 or 3 extra raids when a raid is happening so I can end up with 3-4 big attacker groups at the same time, but Void is very very rarely among them. I don't know why you get them so often
BurritoBitch Aug 25 @ 1:25am
Mmm, I think there's something wrong there yeah. But I mean like, the raid thing seemed too consistent and too constant, especially for the difficulty and storyteller. It was always reapers and always much higher than even what VOID would give me. Also instead of saying N-4 Infected wandered in it said it was a raid by the N-4 Infected faction.
Chromium Aug 25 @ 1:09am
They should not grow, they dissapear after a short time after death. And the reason of you getting raids like that is because you installed V.O.I.D ,now suffer the consequences
BurritoBitch Aug 24 @ 10:59pm
My most esteemed individual why on gods green earth am I regularly getting all reaper raids at of 40+ at 60k colony wealth a few days in? I am befuddled and bemused. Also why do the reaper corpses for whatever reason grow to the size of a building instead of disappearing? Are any of the things I am experiencing intended?
cricketboy01 Aug 24 @ 10:24pm
Idea: a scenario that makes the game like dead frontier. Random bases will get overrun by N-4 and the map biomes will be like zones or something. Over time they could evolve? It'd probably need a shambler-like for the normal zombies.
freackyfreac Aug 23 @ 7:27pm
so i have a mod that adds quality for bionics and all voidtech bionic in their bases spawn at awful...

also i landed at a science site. i saw everything while looking where to land, and after i landed i had fog of war on my ship even. also game counts it instantly as destroyed...

cricketboy01 Aug 22 @ 9:00pm
@radiosity yeah but they keep sitting IN THE CAFETERIA AT THE TABLE then grabbing a bottle of wine, blacking out and then getting taken to bed. Then they make a beeline to do it again when they recover lol. My headcannon is the N4 people are still somewhat sentient when controlled by the implant and this is their coping :/
Vatheron Aug 22 @ 7:33pm
@Chromium for the Vanilla anyways.
