If you have a savegame using the older Elite Mercenaries Mod you can not update to this one because of changes and XML cleaning i had to do - annoying..... i know.…But give it a try in your next game.
as stated - under IMPORTANT
Works for new game or Can be added to save game - but if you remove this mod again then Calradia will be populated with parties with units that does not exist anymore = crash, as units goes into gamecode.
- So adding to savegame make backup before so you safe can remove again.
campaign.give_troops mercenary_Centurion 10
Or
campaign.give_troops mercenary_Centurion 50
Etc.
If you use bannerlord version 1.1.0 or 1.1.1 I recommend the expanded version, where Elites are more plentiful.

The expanded version only for 1.1.0
If you start a new game i can recommend using Elite Mercenaries Expanded.
You could edit the sp_mercs.xslt
By deletings all vanilla mercs under each culture, which leaves only elite mercs…and those caravan guards.
Perhaps when 1.1.0 comes out of Beta and goes Live i could make a Elite Merc Only version, lots of new fine armor is added.
But don’t know if it will work for you.
