@Snorrelli Fire2 is a game transfer type and is already supported by this mod for fire helicopters. Can you reproduce that issue in a new test save with only this mod, Harmony, Loading Screen Mod Revisited active?

Dare I mention that the issue exists for fire helicopters too (fire2)?:steamfacepalm: I can confirm it is NOT a problem for medical helis but not sure about disaster.

@Snorrelli Hmm, yes, it appears you're right - Crime2 isn't a game transfer type, but is a custom type added by TM:CE. I'll see what I can do.

Maybe identified a minor conflict with TM:CE 3.1.12. I think this mod doesn't recognize "crime2," which triggers police helicopters. As a result, buildings spawn all available models instead of the one selected with Vehicle Selector.

Ahh thanks for confirming. If there was ever a wishlist for additional features, I would love to be able to micromanage my ports and cargo stations. Irritating seeing my port docks send stuff between them for tiny distances that no one in real life would ever use a boat to move stuff for.

@sam Ah, those ones (sorry, I thought you were referring to regular cargo warehouses). Yes, you're correct - they have their own separate mechanism, and aren't currently supported by this mod.

So I'm looking at the in-game cargo harbour that also has a rail line. The mod works great in that I can pick what boats and trains come in and out, but there isn't an option to control what trucks spawn when cargo arrives. It also seems to ignore global settings (still see tractors roll out of there occasionally when they're banned). Would be lovely to be able to set things so that only trucks that spawn out of the hub are container trucks, but it doesn't seem to be an option. Seems to be the same for the other transport hubs. Can control what delivers the goods (train, plane), but not what trucks then carry the goods out of there. I'm guessing that there is something different about how the game chooses what spawns to deliver goods that are being transported versus goods/materials that are being produced.

@sam Cargo vehicles are supported. What specifically (in game terms) do you mean by "cargo hub"?

I'm guessing that the game logic for what trucks are sent out from cargo hubs is somehow different and that's why it's possible with this mod to choose types of trains or ships, but not what trucks spawn?

@wraithrider No idea without seeing your specific layout, e.g. seeing if your 'separated' lines provide a through route for background traffic.

Hi Algernon. Building on one of the new maps and my passenger train lines keep getting freight trains running on them even though my passenger and freight lines are separate. Any ideas what might be happening?

@Agent Cockchafer Ahh, yes, that would be it.

When using games with the Unity engine of the vintage in this game, NEVER second-load with mods. ALWAYS exit to desktop between loads.

Going into an editor counts as a load. Never exit an editor to the main menu and then load a save (or start a new save) when using any mods, as things will break - as you've found out.

ok so it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

i did notice that whenever it broke, i accessed the asset editor before in that session. not sure if thats the cause. nor how it could have hypothetically broken it.

anyone know why i constantly get an error about this mod not being able to load its Harmony patches on save load? the only other Harmony mod i have isn't listed as causing incompatibilities with this.

@wraithrider Unfortunately, no suggestions - a couple of people have reported similar, but I (and my usual testers) can't reproduce the issue. The only idea I've got is that another mod is doing something, but I've got no idea which one.

Hi Algernon, I'm noticing my police helicopter spawning point also keeps spawning news helicopters even though I only select a certain police helicopter to function. I don't know, maybe some reporters want that news story exclusive real bad. :steamhappy: As well, at times the spawn point will spawn un-selected police helicopters along with the selected ones. Any ideas on possible causes and remedies? Thanks in advance.

@PKtheEclipseGeek This mod is for service vehicles, not transit lines. To set the vehicles for transit lines use the game's in-built transit line interface.

I guess it should be changed to LQoL for LOUSY Quality of Life. Another great idea that just made things worse. These guys are getting as bad and as irritating as Rockstar.

@waithrider Yes, what @The Loot wrote. It was introduced with the Steam 'QoL' patch over a year ago and has never been fixed.

For added fun, sometimes it also downloads items that you were once subscribed to but aren't subscribed to any more - which causes a lot of issues if that item is an old mod.

Steam seems to randomly delete some workshop files these days, despite the subscription still being there.

@wraithrider Could it be that you're suffering from the Steam QoL bug where it randomly deletes subscribed items - in this case, vehicles?

Hi Algernon, I've been noticing my vehicle selector has been dropping vehicle assets as of late. It's not chronic, but a few here and there suddenly vanish, and I have to go back to their original listings - unsubscribe and resubscribe to get them back into the vehicle selector memory. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I've had that same problem from time to time. Instead of said selected police helicopter launching from a station a news helicopter would take off or land instead. I just chalked it up to some important crime news event my city council or police chief didn't brief me on.

For some reason, helicopter depots won't pay attention to their settings and send whatever helicopter out to calls.

I figured out what the problem is. The building of the recycling plant (or any other) is too far away and because of that the cars don't go, if you put it closer, everything functions.

With the mod enabled, any garbage trucks stopped appearing in my save. With the rest of the government buildings did not notice any problems, had to remove from their subscriptions.

No errors did not appear. Just appeared car 1/27 and after a second disappeared 0/27. This works with both custom garbage trucks and vanilla ones. IMPORTANT: the Advanced Vehicle Options mod is installed, but in it all garbage trucks are allowed to appear.

I will be glad if there are ways to solve this problem.

@algernon i'm currently trying to recreate it again since it fixed itself when i wrote the comment. It said something with an Error with Harmony

I have a little problem. the Icon from this mod is not shown on the screen (probably behind something or out of the screen and i don't know how to get it back on screen. Or is there a shortcut i could use?

@wraithrider If you try it just once (use Skyve to easily disable/enable all in one go) and provide the log, and confirm if it's still there, then it will at least narrow things down for me so I know where to look further.
