My game hates working on this new laptop but I can run this mod. Thank goodness cause it is my favorite mod! And whenever it stops working- my game- I have to turn this off, load it, and turn it back on and it works. Any thoughts on what could be wrong if anything? Thanks :)

There is a bug, which basically do not stay saved if you put prostheses as scars to diseases or simply remove limbs.

compatibility with expanded passions, is broken and xenotypes don't seem to be properly supported.

The fork works fine for me, if you're having issues it's another mod causing the issues.
I can save characters, I can edit them without issues and saving/loading presets also works as intended.

people, stop reporting problems with this forked mod. it was created as a stop gap until the original is updated (it's being worked on as we speak according to the author).

Anyone else having a issue saving and loading presets? Every time I do, their gender is swapped around and everything else stays the same. You also can't just change their gender back, either, as they'll just be stuck with the swapped gender's face and body type.

Also, when adding animals in the Equipment menu, the sex might be still random. I added 1 male and 1 female for each animal I wanted in my colony, they all spawned as male.

When saving the preset, the xenotype isn't register, if load a preset, all colons are humans even if there were'nt initialy

bug report: xenotypes with a dependency, like psychoid, the dependency doesn't properly apply to the pop's health.

I cannot save any preset, got a tonne of mods though - so wont complain - just a hassle when prepping 10 chars and having to remake the whole thing =)

bug found pawns won't save or load properly i know this is just a fork but if you do have any mod skills could you just fix it i worked a long time on 2 pawns that where about to become standard templates so i wouldn't have to randomize just please fix.

Saving presets is broken. In my case it doesn't save the head shape and also randomizes every stat and characteristic

I second what Skyhawk said. Getting all those same issues before I switched. I'm not a total savage though, I am super happy someone decided to fork Prepare Carefully. If it was slightly more stable than a uranium rod that would be nice though. That being said,The original was kinda buggy at times, most of it was behind the curtains though.

anyone know when the base mod is being updated this mod worked once and each time i try and load the game it just tells me that it failed to initialise over and over and over and over and over

My only issue is that I can't find the mechlink after the one I had suddenly disappeared off the character while loading them. I'm not sure if you changed its name or if it just isn't around and is wondering if someone else also has this issue
