Could you make a texture/model replacement version to swap the "Deathrest casket" for the "Deathrest royal coffin" texture/model. I love the look of the "Deathrest royal coffin" but want to functionality of the vanilla "Deathrest casket".

please make compatibility with preservation sarcophagus mod's solid stone closed-lid sarcophagi as a possible option for deathrest, it'd be cool to have more variety and something to fit like a marble aesthetic classical colony

A extensions like a blood well or incense candles would be nice, so we could make a use of the deathrest capacity. Maybe they have less stat gain per capacity point then industrial ones.

In the latest update these two coffins can only be found in biotech again, can they be added to the furniture. Thx a lot

Why didn't these two coffins appear after studying the complex furniture? Click on the Biotech Build bar, it is gray and inaccessible, showing no buildable items. Only in Developer mode can it appear in the Biotech Build bar. In addition to complex furniture unlock, what other conditions are needed?

I'm seeing a weird issue in my Medieval Overhaul playthrough where when my colonist uses the coffin it unassigns their normal bed. Is this some conflict with MO furniture or is that how this mod was intended to work?

There is a bug where if your colony lacks bed AND you assigned the deathrest coffin already

Other pawns will come and sleep in it like it is a normal unassigned bed and then become assigned to it (in addition to the sangophage assigned to it already) causing the coffin to now have 2 owners resulting in a stackoverflow of error message that a 1 slot bed have 2 owners.
It doesn't crash the game or anything just pollute your error feeds a lot. Gameplay wise you can legit make a normal pawn AND a sangophage both have the same coffin which is funny

@Harkon there is a conflict between this and some tech restriction mods in that the biotech tab is completely greyed out, the solution I found was to change the items category to furniture then it can be built in medieval tech restricted games.

@Fera if you reduce it then is worse than doing it on the ground or any bed. The high tech on is the only one that can be boosted with additional buildings.

Can I reduce the efficiency of the royal one, and the efficiency of the normal coffin even more? I mean, one takes more work to build, and the high tech deathrest shouldn't be comparable even.

A thought - can we get a tribal version that's ready to go at start? My idea was that for balance/aesthetic it would be a cairn of stones or earthen barrow that would take a lot of work to build.

Figured out the issue and it's not a mod conflict, it's just to unlock the caskets themselves you need to have both the complex furniture and deathrest research done to unlock them in the biotech tab. If you're using a medieval mod that turns off the ability to research deathrest, cause it's industrial level vs medieval, then they will not show up for you. Hope that helps anyone with the same issue :GhostFlowerHappy:
