Fixed crashes related to crew construction

Hey, for anyone wanting to fix the crash for 0.23.1, I have found that the following works for me:

Navigate to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\799600\2880648362\armor_light_wedge
Open the corresponding rules file
Change CreatePartWhenDestroyed value to cosmoteer.structure_wedge

For similar help regarding the Heavy Armor mod by JFJohnny5, please refer to that workshop item's comment section.

Keep in mind that steam will try to automatically revert these changes. You may either need to pause downloads on steam to prevent this, or clone the mod to your user mod directory before applying changes, until JFJohnny5 patches this themselves

It's going to take me a bit of time to dig into this and my other mods. Due to other obligations, I likely won't get to do that until mid-August unfortunately :(

For both the Heavy Armor and Light Armor mods, the single tile wedges seem to cause a lot of problems now. Crew build the structure properly, but will not build the armor, and when trying to force them to or revert the change, it crashes the game.

Though considering the last update was November 12 of last year, and this bug has yet to be fixed already with how bad it is, I assume there probably won't be a fix to this, unless done by someone else.

Hey I hear ya. The engineers warned the suits at JohnnySpace Co. that cutting weight would compromise the integrity of the plating, and they shouldn't expect a linear relationship between mass and protection, but what do execs care, rights? :p

Light armor is a nice option for early game or light ships meant to be distractions. It's also good for filling in those odd gaps in ship layout. I personally use it on fleet support ships - the ones with the factories and tons of storage - to give them some protection in case they get caught in a crossfire before my combat ships can engage.

I like the mod, even tough I have my critics I still find uses for it in specifc ships.

This is a good ideia. The only thing that bugs me is that while they indeed protect you against half the damage of the standard amour, they still weigh a lot since it's only a two tone reduction from these... So while a standard rectangular amour weights 6 tones and has 8000 hit points, your armour weights 4 tones and can only tank as half the other one... Thinking on the long term it's not worth using the lighter version since it's not light enough to make up for the huge protection loss...
