Yippee! More BSG!

I was thinking about new BSG builds again earlier today, current plan is to publish all the current WIP builds so I can get back to BSG

Any update on new BSG Ships?

I happen to be a ship designer, and some of them happen to be Battlestars. Just not the ones you'd expect, but rather made based on real life elements and stuff created by another Space Engineer.

What I learned filming the NX-01 when I get back to working on and filming for Wave 2 it's going to be wild and Perseus will defiantly be apart of it

i love all your ships you made most of them are close of it true looks in shows. specially all your star trek ships

No mods, and I use all DLC while I build. I use Non-DLC blocks for conveyors and other systems when I can so it should be an easy swap for the hangar doors and the other bits are mostly cosmetic details not necessary but worth the cost of a coffee for a fun game.

ok is there any other DLC or mods i need to be aware of? I got the Heavy Industry DLC and both Warfare DLCs, but still have stuff missing such as hanger doors and such.

I absolutely love this! I love your stuff, I don't see many talented Engineers building with such detail and so well often on the workshop, I really hope I get to see more in the future!

In the notes section I wrote how I optimized it for non DLC players

"- Reduced DLC as much as possible, all conveyors, thrusters, cargo, lights and main system are non-DLC. Warfare II is recommended for the Hangar Doors and Turrets but also easily swappable."

other Vipers are around and some may also fit

Question, what ship is the launch pods designed for?

I was just messing around and if you stand her on her tail, she can stop in 85% gravity. Was just the base ship, in creative but something to think about.

the fact you can fit 16 vipers, 4 raptors, fully stock they flight bay up, is insane, fully crewed, this would be power

Nice build. Hoping the series 2 is about 50% larger... the flight deck landing area is just a bit small for my friends and they hit the walls lol. Still a Battlestar is a hard ship to build in SE due to shape and size. Most are either to small to be worth doing or too big for people to load. This is good but suffers from the issue most have.If this was scaled up 50% it would be right in between and perfect.

I really like some of the detail techniques. & the cool thing is My fighters can work in this ship, If you ignore the launch tube hall is like 1 SG block to short for a connection lol.

Ok, now that i've had time to check it out that CIC is a WORK OF ART. nails the bsg feel without going over the top, and the whole thing is just *chefs kiss*, you really nailed it. I'd love to see you take on some of the smaller ships, like an adamant or something of the sort
