@Lennoxite, if you include a patch operation to add <useSkinShader>false</useSkinShader> to the graphicData section for each ear type, that should fix the reddish/brownish discoloration issue. :)
(Thanks to the [LTS]Xenotech mod for the code I referenced for that information!)
However, when I tried patching the AFU Cosmetic Genes textures to replace the Mammalia ones, the results came out with correct AFU textures but the same reddish/brownish hue. So the issue is not with the colorType alone, but some other factors as well.
So there might be a weird interaction between Biotech Expansion and Character Editor specifically? I can't identify the issue with my current knowledge.
