did you pressed right click while drilling (or is the key stuck, can happens sometimes)? Then ore vanish yes

Newest release this causes the ship to spin uncontrollably when on a piston; also parts seem to be invisible sometimes? Don't think the invis. is mod related.

Real nice job .... would love to see them be better tho. on piston mining rigs the pistons dont go slow enough to stop hitting the ground and braking stuff. Would even be happy with them costing more to make them if it ment they were better.

I found a bug where the orientation of the block is face towards the rear of the bucket instead of in front of bucket which causes PAM script remote control orientation error

Was looking forward to using this but I wasn't able to get it to work for me. Also, I'm too non-tech savy to be able to tell you where it went wrong or why, hopefully other players will be able to describe the issue better. Thanks for allowing access and sorry for not be of any help sorting the problem, it is still a really cool looking design.

May be due to it not even on the G menu for all blocks or even as a block tool that PAM cant see it. You have to use search bar to even find it. I would suggest you look at the link DragonSlayer posted to see how you set a tool up correctly in SE.

For some reason I can't get these to work on PAM auto miners. As soon as I replace the vanilla drills PAM wants the remote and sensor placed backwards and but then the miner tries to drill in reverse...

I can’t seem to find it even when and yes I have activated it can anyone help please??

But seriously a question: is it as good as a normal small driller (same speed, getting same amount of item-ore from in world-ore, same energy consuming?)

just refitted my drillball with your mod....works even better and looks at least a little bit less weird (basicly a ball of conveyors with drills and the other neccessary things to fly) . just love it.

Will be good if you can make square holes with this one.

Completely understand. I didn't realize the weight was attached to components. Should have realized seeing the volume it can hold is attached to size of the drill.

@UnRealLimits The weight is set by the components that are used to craft the tool, changing any of it to less would make it cheaper while the performance is still the same as the default drill.

To compensate I would have to edit its performance to a third of the standard drill, which is already a pain at times and where I consider performance to be minimal before it becomes useless or impractical.


The best option I can think of right now is to make a lightweight variant of the original excavator that performs worse while being lighter and cheaper. but I will at least wait so that I can make another model for the bucket wheel so that it is more complete.

Works amazingly now, thank you Pino. One request though. Seeing they are a third of the size of the original drills could they also be a third of the weight? Currently the drills and excavator are 920Kg. So if possible doing something like 307Kg for your mod. I understand if you cant or wont do this. Just a suggestion.

@Kater Lysator @UnRealLimits I fixed the not showing up on seat G menu issue, now you can use the mouse to dig.

God how i look forward to that....my brain explodes with ideas on how to build my next mining ship to a) go crazy on dem rocks and b) never need another one again.... :)
