Your first goal should be making the Grey Seer show up in Custom Battle, Cryswar's guide can help with that:
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1694945483
Afterwards you can create the ancillary and skill for them.
I made added in my new "file" -> "wh2_main_skv_cha_grey_seer_ruin_2" (2 as the normal game is max 1?) and added in mount "wh2_main_cam_mnt_skv_bonebreaker" sadly don't seem to work x|
In Rusted PackFile Manager, use Global Search and look for wh3_main_skv_cha_warlord_1 for the entries for Warlord on Bonebreaker. You will want to clone that unit and adopt it to the Grey Seer. Good luck!
You can make your own versions and upload them!
@ThrobbingforMorbius:
It is fairly simple to clone a unit and change their weapons. Grab Rusted Pack File Manager and Asset Editor and have a go!
You are welcome to give it a try, it may work depending on if SFO modifies the unit key and skill tree node. This mod is balanced for vanilla so it will likely not perform the same as similar units there.
Asking for a friend. That friend is me.
You can add this by opening the mod with Rusted Packfile Manager.
I'll quit bugging you on your mod page about this now—thanks for the help!
I spent some time researching on the modding discord when the patch dropped.
There is probably a link somewhere for the invite.
4.0 added the character_skill_node_set_items_tables, make one for your mod in Rusted Pack File Manager, with "wh2_ main_skill_node_set_emp_captain" in Set and the key of the Griffon mount skill from character_skill_nodes_tables to the Item box.
After making that table, right click on the character_skill_nodes_tables table and use the Update Table option.
That should be all you need to do if their implementation is the same as this mod.
The Captain's Demigryph mount uses the same battlefield entity as standard Demigryph Knights (mass = 1500). Thanks for the heads-up!
This mod should not require an update to work with 3.1, but please let me know if bugs show up.
GENERAL OF THE EMPIRE (MOUNT: IMPERIAL GRIFFON)
Entity Mass: 1,650 → 2,300
DEMIGRYPH KNIGHTS
Entity Mass: 1,300 → 1,500
DEMIGRYPH KNIGHTS (HALBERDS)
Entity Mass: 1,300 → 1,500
I don't know if you have to modify something in your mod concerning this but so you know :)
Nevermind, I was trying to re-code the Demigryph mount as a warbeast instead of cavalry to take advantage of additional attack animations from Griffons (swing right and left works, but rider position is wonky).
Let's keep it as a point purchase instead of auto unlock for the sake of AI randomness (high level Empire captains may be on Pegasus OR Demigryph now), you can change it to auto unlock on your end if you would like.
Im just confused, are you intending to add an upgrade path or something?
Yes, I am aware of the auto unlock table. It was a conscious decision to make this mount a point purchase.
If it is an auto unlock, I could do a skill point dump as upgrade similar to the Pegasus mount.
I feel it ought to be, so its on par with other mount skills.
I don’t have anything posted. However, I’m working on a combined mod with a small group. Mostly personal use but I’m hoping to push it into the workshop. Involves Bretonnia, Grand Cathay and the Empire
