at what point does the pop limit change? because i got to age 5 and its still the normal amount also the names of the factions never changed either is this normal? only mod ive ever used on here

@RedJeff. It only means you have other RON mod files remaining in your install directory. Follow instructions below the comments to ensure Blitz Republic works for you. It should work flawlessly.

How to make sure the Blitz Republic mod works. Blitz Republic normally does not give out any errors when starting the game. Kindly make sure that there are no other mods or workshop items installed or enabled aside from Blitz Republic. Go to Tools and Extras and then Steam Workshop. Disable any other existing mods. Blitz Republic should be the only one enabled. Try also to reacquire (verify) the Rise of Nations files.

You also need to delete the files in the RON workshop folder if there are any residual workshop mods from other mods you installed. It may be located in another directory (depending on your installation), but this number relates to Rise of Nations. You will have to delete every folder inside of this to clear any lingering RON workshop files: \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\287450\.

If it still happens and you are certain you did all these steps, then note what map you were playing, and a screenshot of your skirmish/quick battle screen.

even tried a fresh install of this mod and there is no other mods installed and still just straight CTD, it was fun while it lasted

this was working a few days ago but now whenever i use this mod to start a new solo game it CTD, when i start a game without the mod activated it works fine, not sure what has changed in the last couple of days i know this mod hasn't been updated so i don't think it's that

I both love and meh this mod.
I love all the nation skins it provides (except for snow low tech female villager, give her back her glorious pony tail). Yet I'm dicey when it comes to all changes that come by default to everything else.
Still, it feels nicee!

I uninstalled all mods. I only play this one. AND THE BEST AND MOST FUNNY.

Oh I see now, that's sad. I was wondering why there aren't a lot of mods like new nations packs, more troops or even simple enhanced visuals for the game. Thanks for explaining.

Additionally, the units from all countries are retextured differently, as well as buildings so much so that they are distinguishable from each other's sides. So you know if the Russians, or Americans, or Israelis attack you. This separates Blitz Republic from most mods as the country themes are very visible.

Yeah, RON is limited engine. You cannot add more units as per their limitation. But you can enable some disabled units during release, or replace old ones.

Oh so it's just these three

It's listed above in the description if you read it. Attack Sub, Zeppelin and HUMVEE. New buildings like Radar and Highrise towers. More coming in future patches.

@DeMOiX Kindly give a screenshot of what you selected in the Quick Battle screen as I cannot reproduce this error. I can play with no issues East vs West map with Blitz Republic. Maybe a nation choice is causing it, but I can't test properly without using your settings.

@Labico, the ones posted here at the top are the latest additions. There may be future updates for units, but as of now, I don't have enough time to patch it. Will update once we can add more.

Yes. As long as all players have Blitz Republic installed without any other mods or workshop subs installed.

So it was a system issue after all. Good thing to know it worked for you now. To be honest, I had a problem believing that the mod could have one one file only on your workshop folder. At least now we know that it was the issue with the Nvdia driver and Blitz Republic still worked well. Thanks for testing. Hope you enjoy it!

@TheHunter Just subscribe to the workshop mod and you should be good. Just ensure you don't have any other mod installed, either via workshop or other external RON mods and Blitz Republic should work perfectly.

Go to the folder of the Rise of Nations workshop. Delete all other mods/folders that's causing the issue. Otherwise, you have not deleted the workshop folders completely. Because this should work flawlessly as long as there are no other mods.

Doesn't work at all. Followed all the instructions. Cleared all the mods. Did file integrity check. No errors. Can't even load the game it just crashes.

Still the best mod for RON.

Yup no other mod files and RON steam files reaquired .. as soon as I go back home I will try to do some magic on my PC will update you on the progress ;)
