Hm, I see your point. Although I think people wouldn't always carry cargo and have these trucks empty as well sometimes. Every loaded trip has an empty trip back usually. It would also create more diversity :)

But do as you see fit ofc, it's your mod.

For this one I used it to carry forestry goods. It felt bizarre if it's going around without carrying anything. If it's as residential vehicles (not carrying anything) it's also kinda weird having these parked at housing and commercial area :\

Will these prop trucks also be released as vehicles?
