can you somehow make it so the impact decals dont end up in the middle of the screen? cuz i find myself taken out of my immersion by my need to aim and see, and thoughts like, "god dammit, the mod spawned decals in the center of my screen again"

For those noting how the mod doesn't work on certain missions: any mission that is specific to the main story and ARE NOT a procedurally generated mission will not use this mod. Every mission beyond those specific missions will utilize the mod correctly.

Awesome! One of the reasons I loved Mechwarrior 3 more than 4. The cockpit glass mod was cool but only missing this. So happy to see this mod exist!

This is a doozy. For me it seems like whenever I do a fresh install, I get one mission where this mod is active, and then impacts won't appear after that point unless I re-install it again. Effects and textures are at maximum.

Regardless of if the new version works or not, just wanted to thank you for supporting this mod with so much commitment.

Nexus version dont work for me :(

While the Nexus version works, it doesn't seem to work consistently. Some mechs get impact breakage, but other mechs (usually Heavy and Assault) don't seem to ever get them. Is this by design?

Hi, I decided to try the NexusMods versions of each of these, they now seem to be working properly.

I just tested with multiple detail settings, glass impacts were always showing up and would appear in the middle of the cockpit where glass is. If the effects setting is medium, rain will not appear on the glass, but high and extreme it will. But during all times, impacts were on.

I'm running both with no issues

Followup: Installing the Cockpit Glass mod actually completely breaks the GlassBreak mod. Removing Cockpit Glass doesn't fix this; GlassBreak flatout doesn't work anymore after I installed and removed the Cockpit Glass mod. Not sure how to fix it.
