Question: Does this work well with mods like More Bookmarks + which have customized titles? will those customized titles slot into your rework? or will one or the other get overridden?

Custom title of adress makes it possible to rename a king into a viceroy, or an archduke. This way you can be King of Britannia without having vassal kings, which breaks immersion a bit for me. Right now the two mods work at the same time, but it only changes some of the titles to the newly chosen title.

The title system idea is seriously awesome really appreciate it, FiveBy21. I’ve never understood why the game doesn’t break down ranks like Lowborn, Noble, High Noble, or Royal properly. That stuff should tie into dynasty prestige, royal blood, or being part of a top noble house. In the West, the King’s siblings are High Nobles — not full royals, but still “of royal blood.” Meanwhile, in Rus, even distant relatives of the royal dynasty were called princes by default, not as a courtesy but because of bloodline. The game doesn’t reflect that. There’s no real use of courtesy, honorary, or titular titles and your family just ends up feeling like glorified courtiers instead of part of a ruling house. What you’ve done here actually gives the system life and makes it feel immersive! Only weird issue I’ve had is seeing family members in a Western kingdom called “Caliph” instead of “Prince” the Caliph title tends to overrides the most. Odd, but not a big deal.

will like to say this mod breaks Artifact Variations 2, idk how but the pictures for them disappear and 3d models of them in the court room disappear

This may be already answered, but in my game the children of kings and queens do not have the title of prince. Is this a feature of the mod or is there another fix.

could you make a compatch for seperate name and title? i like that one's ui more but the new titles in ur mod are a must have as well

Mod should be fully updated for 1.16.2 now.

If you're having issues with broken text strings, stay on 1.16.1 or lower for the moment.

hamlet - I'll add Queen Mother as an optional feature sometime in the future. It would just be an alternate localization for Dowager Queen in cases where she is also the King's mother.

Quincey - Yes there is currently an effort to port R&F directly into AGOT.

hamletsdead - The portrait changes in R&F are much lighter than before. If you put EPE & CFP below R&F in the load order I think you would (probably) be fine. But if not I will release a version of R&F without any portrait changes.

Running 1.14 (newest update) and starting up a new game, this mod doesn't let me click on any start dates, characters, and the "Start" button itself doesn't work.

@MegaPoggy Your right, I think the Fiveby probs got a lot of ideas making the original mod, and implemented them as they went along. Causing the feature creep.

For some reason i cant quite figure out, this mod unnecessarily touches SO many visual files that it doesnt need to. Its primary purpose is rank and titles, yet it has a ton of GUI files. This is whats breaking this mod for future updates as far as i can tell

No, eventually I plan to make an AGOT somemod. Once the new version of R&F is released, it is probably the next thing I will do. Well, either that or EPE compatibility.

does this work for AGOT?

This mod applies to everyone, although I only do postnominal titles for European Rulers (intentionally).

The mod does not apply to muslim, african and indian rulers. Is that intentional?

I like this mod but whenever an event pops up, I never goes away no matter what I click. Furthermore, did not see titles for any of the children of kings, not even the normal prince and princess. Looking forward to updates!

I really like this mod, but it was causing an issue with the game (making it so the new vanilla events only showed up as their localization codes eg. "bookmark.1066.t"). Any chance this could be fixed? Because as I said, love the mod :)
