yeah they being compared to mussolini, like Fascist politician, then the media destroy his plan and it will never go in power, obviously say fascist to those character is just an injury against them figure, because many of them aren't fascist, just love thier country.

Let me guess, any politicians who openly wants to preserve the beautiful architecture and opposes building that awful modern building near the city center gets quickly compared to Mussolini, isn't it.

like im italian, and In italy all the PM since 1946 to now never take that way seriouly, no one have interst in those type of things
in italy, the city of Rome is very beutiful, but only the centre the border city is bad, dirty and with a lot of nigerian immigrants with no job (because they don't want any jobs, just beign a drug dealer is the max XD) and street are unsafe for womans and mens in general.
the same things in France i think, in spain i know is almost the same thing.
Rome need to be elevated to the oldest times, rome was so beutiful...but how i already sad no one wont to do something for the city, and in general for every city in italy

yeah i agree in places like france, italy, spain, greece, portugal and so on doesn't had greta politician by alot of time, no one interested into re-start the culture, the architecture.
renaissance style is beutiful, ancient roman inspired style, gothic style is fantastic too....but no one in charge of a european country want to do that, a restoration of the beutiful in thier country

I also prefer older styles. Especially roman and gothic architectures.

The main problem is there is no political will to do something beautiful, as the limit is clearly not technical. Many politicians prefer the oppressive effect of brutalism instead of using all our technological might to do beautiful constructions.

yeah i prefer the old buildings style then the modern ones...something modern that i like are the skycreapers, other modern things..are absolutly flat, industrial or simply bad

Yes it's very industrial, while the Arc de Triomphe is neoclassical and the Louvre is mainly renaissance - there are underground areas that date back to the high Middle Ages though.

The tower was supposed to be temporary, just a show of engineering : "with steel construction, we can reach heights undreamable before" - indeed it crushed the record for the highest construction, over 300m while the Washington Monument was below 200 and the greatest cathedrals around 150. It was more in line with the rest of the buildings built for the 1889 then 1900 universal expositions, most of them got dismantled shortly after. It was supposed to be dismantled after 20 years, but got saved because it was the perfect radio antenna due to its height. As a nod do that, I put the beacon in the tower.

just is the real one that i don't like at all...i prefer the arc de triomphe in the reality, or the louvre

the server allows only grids up to 20k blocks. I could have made the Eiffel Tower in small grids, using metal beams, but I'm absolutely sure it would have exceeded the limit.

It was making it like that, or sacrificing a big part of the map
