origin aside, pretty fun character. i love throwing the lil shy guy around.

Aight so after fighting this lvl 9 cpu one of 3 things are possible:

1. After trappus comment was made the ai was SEVERELY nerfed
2. trappu was being a funny little whimsical guy
3. Bro might hold the record for the WORST rivals of aether player on the planet

Whichever one of these may be, I can confirm that I am indeed "geeked."

Bro had to play it on level ONE? Now I HAVE to see this. I'd geek if it's just a skill issue.

Whoops, turns out I just had to uninstall & reinstall them. Works perfectly now.

Weird thing is releasing neutral special does do it but only if the taunt isn't triggered so I have to do something else (like parry or attack) & push neutral special during that so Shy Guy will freeze when I release the button.

I wasn't even pushing the taunt button at all. Just the special button. For some reason, that seems to just make her do a nonfunctional version of her taunt instead of using the neutral special described in her description.

I think you're talking about taunt while holding special and not the taunt button 'cause you can only control shy guy doing taunt while holding taunt.

Neutral special on the ground doesn't seem to be doing what it's supposed to. It just makes her do her taunt dance but without the benefit of controlling Shy Guy. If I use it in the air, it just does what's supposed to.

Tweak your CPU AIs, people. I had to bring their level down to 1 to get something even close to my own skill level...

Fun character though.

I like the moveset from what I've seen, but something is stopping me from actually downloading it.

But for controller I recommend putting taunt on a shoulder button for now.

Could we get an alternate way to use her taunt? Feels like a necessity when playing with a controller. She seems really fun though.

i'm personally not a fan sorry. very small character and kit is interesting but not for me.

yeah maybe some in the future, rn I have done a final smash which will be push a bit in the future.

also, can the halt be a toggle? Like, press Neutral Special once to stop Shy guy, press it again to call him back?

very cool character! Never seen a gimmick where holding taunt let's you control a separate character.
One thing I would like changed tho: Please let me use the Special button to perform Shy Guy's moves when directly controlling him. You use Special to command him normally, really awkward that you can't use it when controlling him.
Besides that tho, super cool!

Looks like most of the jank is still there. The move seems. Generally weird. It's hard to pin down exactly how or why, it just keeps glitching in weird ways for seemingly no reason. Maybe I can try and record using it a bunch of times in different contexts and see if I can pin down a pattern. For now it's kinda late for me, too, so I'm also gonna sleep. Sleep is important!

I did another patch, It should hopefully be fixed (I kinda reverted the fstrong to how it was in v1.12)

It's also 2am for me, so I'll probably go to sleep.

More weirdness: seemingly at random, f-strong will inexplicably throw at a much sharper diagonal angle than it usually does. Other, also seemingly random times, the move will connect and keep going instead of stopping. Don't know what's up with this specific move, but it does NOT want to behave consistently.

Ok, better, but still a bit glitchy. For one, if f-strong connects offstage such that Shy Guy falls off after the move lands, he won't respawn, so it's still possible to randomly lose him mid-fight if that happens to occur. Also, if f-strong connects with an enemy, then a wall (tested on the training stage), Shy Guy will get frozen in midair against the wall (he used to fly off into the sky, but now he just gets frozen). You can still make him move left and right with taunt like this. He doesn't have a hitbox, though.

@crimsonDestroyer that should be fixed now, just basically force it to go at a certain vsp, and added extra failsaves.

Very silly concept. Pretty interesting character - looks weak on the surface, with the complete lack of specials beyond Shy Guy's and up special, but being able to control Shy Guy independently with taunt makes you much more dangerous. One thing, though - I keep running into a bug where f-strong randomly causes Shy Guy to keep going and projectile off into the outer stratosphere. He comes back... eventually. But for a stock or two you're forced to fight without him and be dramatically weaker.

Now Shy Guy won't have anymore lonely nights

at first I thought this was a poorly made mod on for the game like a few other random mods here but then I saw the goofy stuff you can do with the shy guy buddy and the over all move set nice job dude keep up the good work making fun characters to play.

@Baitofqualitycooking The Css button is meant for if you want to switch Nspecial to be taunt instead of special, more info should be in the description

Her animations look pretty stiff but looks like a neat puppet character mechanic wise.
