Yeah I noticed this as well, I believe they have updated the model somewhere around the time when COD MW2022 came out.

And I remember the model they used for this G3A3 is the one from Insurgency: Sandstorm.

But yeah, still not sure though.

am I the only one who notices that the retail mw g3a3 looks way different than the old version shown here? the new base g3 looks so much uglier and compressed, I don't know why this is.

Well that's just what happens if you make addons early then change the base stuff that most unofficial mods based on later.

Personally I have same concerns over some of my old addons as well, as they are honestly old and lacking quality in some places, but I do acknowledge that updates to them can potentially break old saves that uses the original modes before update.

But I'll try to find a solution for it, maybe uploading the older versions of them as legacy ones for compatibility purposes.

mw base updates no one asked for (ruins 100's of fan mods)

Apparently the new tracers update of the MW Base broke it, and people complained about it, so in turn they "archived" the mod for now.

Not sure when it'll come back or not, but yeah.

The original was removed? can you check with the modders on discord on why it was removed? I would myself but i was banned
