i had the same bug with reserch being reduced to 1 day. The solution for me was to edit the "ntpor2_defines.lua" file and change the "NDefines.NTechnology.BASE_YEAR_AHEAD_PENALTY_FACTOR" to 0.8.
the ahead reserch is slightly slowed down but it works well for me.

As of now the mod is broken and doesn't affect ai I will release a verso on that works better with ai some time soon

Maybe Paradoxe modifies its console command, which is a bit weird, but sad for this mod.

Doesnt work, got all dlcs except the newest one, no other mods installed

The basics rules of the game dont change with this mod, the AI will still act as vanilla.

As written in the description, only ONE parameter has been changed.

does this let the ai say choose 1945 tech in 1939 or do they just not get a time penalty

This seems to be semi-broken. As in, it still functions, and won't crash the game, but in terms of actually doing its job? Kind of. It does speed up the research speed on advanced things, and shows as taking one day, but it doesn't take 1 day? It takes more like 5 ish, I didn't count exactly but it's longer than it says. Definitely still faster, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't seem to take only 1 day.

No other mods installed or anything, it just doesn't do anything. Both normal things and Road 56 things still have their time penalty sadly.

Ha, it should, it must be load at the end I think, but there is no conflict possible, except for anything which add or modify this parameter.
