It still doesn't work in singleplayer, even after the update. Tested with and without other addons and tried to reinstall it, but still only works in multiplayer.

Ok, that was my problem. It doesn't work in singleplayer and the animations work now as well.

quite bizzare as this works fine for me and my friends
try this command whilst standing on a decal to see if the newly function does even exist for you

Some decals are there for other players after sweeping, is this just a clientside thing? I always thought decals were serverside.
