That's a known bug with Custom Soldier Size, it hates trying to scale physics props.

If you attempt to change Eggman's height with Musashi's Customize Soldier Size, his mustache flies off his face and levitates above his head, floating higher and higher as you increase his height.

Had a strange bug where I had to have my sniper take out this strange blue hedgehog before I could recruit this soldier. Strange that we could lure it with a chilly dog. Well it was hardly a game breaking bug, since we took it out and recruited the soldier fine.
