umm think i just have a delay on them opening. So they dont open right away when the elevator passes them. besides that its really just like a normal airlock.

But when an actual elevator circuit for controlling the doors. since thats really what it is

I tried to recreate your mechanism of closing doors, but i couldn't, so i just made that doors close and open depending on the state of horizontal ports, but it always floods a lot, how did you make that it doesn't flood the elevator?

less flooding ? what floods :P ?

sorry did not see you there. Essentially it has both a horizontal docking port and a vertical one.
Its really no different than in my elevator demo except the shuttle has 2 docking ports horizontal ones and vertical one.

And the docking line also does this except it would be 1 and 3 would be horizontal and 2 would be vertical. and i just consider them the same in the count

So really much the same as the elevator demo's

Got the laser to work by adding some items to the Client/Server High Priority list in Performance Fix.

tried adding performance fix to the gun to make it work with performance fix.
But somehow it breaks the gun and makes it shoot constantly...

its the EDC that makes everything shake.

Replacing laser with a railgun will need a rework of all the gun area since railguns dont shoot straight.
and would in some extend likely cause the same issues.

Ill give performance fix another look and see if i can make that work.

Cool sub, but holy hell this laser drops my fps below 5, not to mention all of this annoying camera shaking. Can you maybe make a version where it's replaced but powerful fixed railgun instead? :) Also in the reactor there is "small planter box" that looks like it can be interacted with, but cannot. Slightly distracting.

If only the lower docking cell is a real docking cell...oh and also is the sub's laser cannon not working properly with the Performance Fix mod?

Yoo i just found out why this particular spot is causing radiation sickness, just right of the supercapacitor theres the pulse laser loader, its loaded with a volatile fulgurium rod wich causes radiation nearby

@desert punk i mean i played it with more people ? Not that its a light ship cuz its not ! And if you dont have a decent computer and connection it will run bad.

Also worth noting that devs actually are working on performance! as an issue.
But to some extend its just a bad performing game. Sadly.

really, really cool idea; however, the elevator drone thing causes extreme lag in large servers, making it unfortunately unplayable with more than 3-4 people

The pump on deck nine, the room right above the lower engine, does not seem to receive any power, and i dont have a clue why, when in the editor, I cant find anything wrong with electrical. Could you please take a look ? It forces one to go open the lower hatch to drain it, that or unscrew the flood alarm.

it auto docks if you move slow near the docking position.

I keep notice few npc keep getting radiation sickness from time to time , after few test I found out there's one little corner at Upper aft side ( basically where Supercapacitor locate at ) will cause radiation to people if they stand there

Yeah thats what i figured too P: The only thing i could see it being useful on really is the worm, and only if it just so happens to be in front of the gun. Thats what i meant by being hesitant x'D
itd be neat if you could make better use of it though.

its not made for that :D its very powerful on big targets but tricky to use and rarely worth it.
