Phantom, please could you explain how to get this to run successfully on a dedi server? I can't seem to get any of your scenarios to run in anything but SP :(

Disregarding balance and optimization, there can be up to 12 player in our sessions tho the average is usually 5-6 and I really want to play your scenarios with a larger number of them at once, its just not the same when I have to spawn everything manually in a Dynamic recon Ops session

Hello, it's 4 players to keep the game optimized and running smoothly. It's also destined difficulty wise for 4 players, or a solo player.

any way to increase the player cap?

Simply one of the best I've played so far and honestly a charm to be eaten by dinosaurs

To anyone curious about this mission or any mission PHANTOM makes, they are some of if not the best in the Arma workshop. I highly recommend playing them as there was a lot of work put into them. I cant wait for the next one because I know its going to be good.

Im not really into playing single player arma missions, but after this, holy crap I've been missing out, great work and thankyou for making htis!

Make sure all 5 addons are installed and enabled. It's common btw, even I sometimes forget to enable all mods.

As for mission deployment, move towards the ghost hawk behind the main base. That will get the mission started.

Quick question - I'm struggling to get the mission to commence. It loads fine, but the only way I can get it moving beyond the base location is to take the controls of the heli - which i'm guessing is not the right way, as triggers after that are problematic. Am i being daft (which is probable), or is there something i am missing?

All you have to do is subscribe to and download the mods under the "required items" to the right, just above "Created by phantom". Nothing more, nothing less. You'll get a Contact splash screen in the pre-loaded lobby for 3 seconds.

And of course, load the scenario from the Pulau map.

Its 100% free, as Phantom said, Contact assets are used as props and the player will not need the DLC to play the scenario, given that these items are native to the EDEN editor now ever since an update a year or so ago, that made DLC objects free to use in the misison maker.

Would you mind direct linking it? If i hit the Hyperlink above it just takes me to a 47 page long list of Im guessing missions using the Contact (Platform) -same thing if i just google it

You don’t need it, it’s free assets used as objects. Just the 5 addons required.

Is Contact Platform the full DLC ($34,00) or a free download of Contact objects/Maps? Mission looks great but expensive if you dont have all of those DLC's

Okay, first thing off. This mission is HARD. You will die. Bring big weapons with BIG ammo. Don't friendly fire. MCC is advised when you die and lose your progress. The mission is compatible with many mods. You can use the in-game radio to go to the obj you died at!!! :)

PHANTOM DOES what most game developer's DOES NOT. Make something fun, soulful and generally entertaining - a treat solo or with friends.

Easily one of the most impressive things to come out of Arma 3 ever. Genuinely, scenarios like this are like the bread and butter of the true Arma experience, reminding me of the years of gold source total conversions that told better stories than many actual games at the time.

Your cutscenes have come so far as well, being the absolute most impressive thing besides the gameplay in these scenarios. Easily one of the best things to ever grace the workshop and a stellar experience.
