As far as I can tell, mod still works fine after 5.1 Update. Thanks Masterdelta41, for fixing what CA should have done from the start. Do not think that the time you put into this for us Chaos Brothers and Sisters isnt appreciated, because it very much is!

@casanova That is from the dlc Champions of Chaos, I did make a mod as well for the variants of lords that where missing from that dlc.

Warhammer has been surging in popularity lately. Have you noticed? I think its partly because of this game, and partly because it avoids "modern politics". Its still pure entertainment without being preachy. And I am glad for it. I could care less about political garbage on ANY side of the fence. I think the world would be a better place without all the squabbling, and Warhammer is one of the few remaining IPs (Fantasy anyways, don't know about 40K) that still brings people of all sorts together! I hope the conventions we had in the 90s make a return!

I think your going to be right about those. I also have seen people saying "What Generic Lords could Khorne get since they don't get sorcerers". I'm thinking maybe a Doombull of Khorne, or even a marked Shaggoth (they had those in I think 6th edition? Maybe 7th)? I'm not too familiar with 8th edition however, so I could be wrong. And thanks a ton for the update!

Gotcha. Whenever you have the time is fine, I am appreciative and not so entitled as to demand anything or rush you friend, The Toad Dragon was a suggestion as I "think" they get them in the army books? (Dunno. Been years since I played TT) but just having access to the manticore and Chaos Dragon is plenty enough. I also heard a rumor about plans for a Chimera mount for Khorne in the future, Don't know the guy enough to trust his claim of inside information, but man I hope its true!

@steelmidnight I will over the weekend, really busy week. I won’t make the Toad Dragon a mount, that will be a headache with all the animation issues.

I hope you plan on updating this to 5.0 when you have the time, and when you do, you should probably just give Nurgle Lords Toad dragons (I think they are what they get on TT for their dragon option).

This mod is amazing. I think the apathy of the Warhammer 3 team was first exposed because they didnt even bother reading the damned source material or army books like the Warhammer 2 team always did. Thankfully, we have incredible modders like you to take up the slack until they get their act together and stop being lazy. Thank you for this!

First of all great mod, thank you very much for this masterpiece. I would like to ask if, could be possible make it comptabile with convert generic lords into heroes mod, cause when u convert a lord into hero the mounts u add dissapear, it would be great. Thank you again!!

Hi, this mod currently doesn't work for Immortal Empires. I've tried using only this mod, and a follow up test with Mixu and MCT.

The Marked Lord Expansion adds the mounts without issue (Mixu & MCT).

@Telaka that is just an issue that happens sometimes, I have no idea on how to fix it. I have seen it happen in the base game with vanilla mounts too.

Daemon hero? Belakor doesn't get demon heroes, which is one of the main reason I'm scrambling for substitues.

@Aisede No worries, also I didn't add the manticore mount for heroes due to balancing reasons. Mainly to keep the daemon hero relevant compared to the Exalted Hero and Sorcerer Heros.

I was playing Belakor, but it was an error on my part, sorry. Although I did just explicitly check the chaos sorcerer hero as Belakor- the Tzeentch version- and he still only has the Disc. No manticore

I tested out Festus, Belakor and Kugath it worked on my end, on all three of those campaigns.

Mod not working for Chaos Sorcerer Lord of Nurgle. No dragon

@Autumnchain it is possible but I would rather not, because I want to keep the uniqueness of the heroes. I also don't want the daemon heroes to be irrelevant, from the mortal heroes which a manticore will definitely help in that regard especially in Tzeentch's case. The only hero imo that needs something is the Exalted Hero of Nurgle, but the animations for all of nurgles creatures are incompatible with them and adding a manticore just for them doesn't sit right.

This is great. However, the one thing missing is Manticore mounts for marked heroes. Is it possible to do that?

Alright fixed somethings for Slaanesh mounts and added the Steed of Slaanesh to the Chaos Lord of Slaanesh, lots of Slaanesh

Update: Added more bullet points to mounts and also added the steed of slaanesh for the marked hero of Slaanesh. I tried to add a rot fly for Nurgle but the skeleton mount moves to much for the hero.

@Big Baby Skesus I tried adding mounts to the following heroes but their skeletons would make them extremely jarring and unpleasant on a mount, I don't have much experience in modding in general so this is beyond me.

I will think about it , I have some ideas that will make the nurgle/slaanesh heroes feel more unique, I don't plan on giving them manticores though. I don't want to make the mortal heroes better than the daemon heroes.

I am pretty sure I fixed all the issues on the campaign side manticore animations, unit card, and the text. Custom battles is being weird so I am avoiding touching on that

I am aware of the Unit Card issue with Chaos Lord of Slannesh and Sourcerer Lord of Nurgle I will try fixing that issue when I can.

Not sure what steelmidnight was talking about but that other mod doesn't give marked sorcerors or champions back the manticore either
