Valve's the one responsible for making the call on holiday restricting items, not us. If it's of any reassurance, cosmetics that get that restriction are usually the more zanier & unorthodox items, whereas something like this would likely make the cut into being an allyear cosmetic.

I think my main issue is that it seems to be primarily a Halloween cosmetic with an alt style.

Gotta love how these commenters look for any sorta reason to be demeaning & insulting towards workshoppers for no good reason, except because they want to.

This right here is the least ugly Halloween hat I've seen so far; and I've seen alot.

If you think this hat is bad or ugly, then you need to fix your eyes and brain. It looks perfectly fine. Stop being a buncha whiners because you can notice that a helmet cosmetic looks like a helmet.

the alt style is okay IMO, but workshop creators going out of their way to add an ugly holiday themed style for their otherwise decent cosmetics is just sad

I like the theme of making an alt variant of hat, of course when its styles not two separate cosmetics.
