I can kinda understand why this design was scrapped. The Xen crystal in the center gives the vibe of being related to portals more so than gravity, like some kind of displacer cannon redesign. Definitely looks cool nonetheless.

I made the model in blender. In the fifth image you can see a high-poly model I rendered in substance painter. To get the look right in source I rendered a environment map and lighting into the texture itself.

Okay, I'm pretty sure the problems I have are mainly because my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ computer can't handle the amount of stuff on it I just need to transfer my data to another way better computer.

If the Framerate is dropping when you use it then it could be the cause. It's far more detailed than the default in both texture resolution and triangle count. It shouldn't cause network lag.

If you have the non-replacement version from the description its located in the props under garrysmod/models/weapons once you are in game. As its a non-replacement you'd need to make a swep or have some addon to use it for non-prop purposes :conwayheadscratch:

the physgun is literally just a super gravity gun reskin, i honestly prefer the consistency.

There is no way to force them to use different world models without editing the sandbox gamemode so its a catch 22. If someone were to make a swep gravity gun then it could use the variation in the description's files.

Its not a gravity gun, its a phys-gun model back when it predated the gravity gun conceptually, so the naming scheme kinda falls apart when it was never for the gravity gun before the model was canned with the new phys-gun model.

besides that misunderstanding, high quality stuff, looks like something out of Black Mesa Source.
