I updated the MOD version for SE from patch .45 onwards (the one you find linked in the description) and perhaps over time I will add more planets.
For this version, which is obsolete, I don't think so...
Check if in your SE milky way stars have names that start with RS 8496 or something else...
with the files there is a list of each planet (list.txt)
314650 is usually the Space engine workshop folder, but maybe it's possible another number i don't know. However the download should have no problems...
Try to unsubscribe and then subscribe again...
Your effort is admirable, yet this kind of addon doesn't work with "other addons". And to find out which one might prohibit this one to work, enabling, disabling stuff is just a waste of time.
Pass.
These files were found under this for me: Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\314650 (after you get here, simply search for the folder with the most recent date).
For the third step, You should paste the file within the config folder.
Hope this helps and feel free to check out my SpaceEngine screenshots
if so, if you have installed some galaxy add-ons (not sure but maybe also some nebulae addons) the internal name of the milky way may change...
In this case you have to modify discovery-eng-db.cfg with a software like notepad ++ and replace the first part of the code for each entry...
example:
Object
{
LocName "Malin"
Name "RS 8496-928-6-93221-175 A4"
Parent "RS 8496-928-6-93221-175 A"
Pioneer "Ettore_BilBo"
Date "09.17.2019 09: 15: 19.66"
}
Usually the part that changes is this:
RS 8496
Check if the name of the milky way stars on your SE start with this code or another. if it's another replace it inside the file...
Or simply disable addons that add or modify galaxies :-D
