work w 42?

I had a crazy idea to search the word mannequin, hoping this exact sort of thing existed, and it does!

I love your mods man, this one was the first one I really noticed since it was so obvious but at the same time such an out of the box idea. Love it.
I agree with others that is too much of a manequin spam/duplicate since if you move one it counts as another manequin therefore making it now 3 infinite duplicating manequins and it grows exponentially since if you move another one you got 8 now to worry about (since those 3 made 3 copies of themselves)
Could it be possible just for the same original manequin to teleport insted of making a copy of itself?
It would solve IMHO the 2 issues I see with the mod atm.
1* The mannequin spamm
2* It keeps that wtf jumpscare fresh since right now it looses that factor pretty quick since you see them everywhere.

100% works for multiplayer. Is horrifying. Don't trust fred.

it sucks that this mod doesn't work, just creating a bunch of duplicates. Weirdly was one of my favorites for the occasional mix of silly/scary. Hopefully gets updated some day.

watched a deep dive of this movie and in a frame by frame the mannequin moves very slightly making the whole thing creepier.

i am legend was an amazing movie. pretty sure that movie spawned a lot of the interest in the apoc genre

Also @Tchernobil, do you need a fresh start? Or can this nightmare spawn in your game mid save w/o issues (except for maybe the mod conflicts that may exist).

But there could be some with conflicting mods. Can you share your modlists ?

2 => yes, yes (if you take care of them while the mod is active)
3 => yes, as far as I know it is corrected
4 => discover by yourself, if you want.

A few questions before I download this please, the description doesn't give me much info and I don't want to waste my time or break my game.

1. Does this affect all mannequins in game? Like the ones in stores and around world?

2. Does it affect mannequins you place? I use mannequins as decoration around my base, will they be affected?

3. Is the duplicating mannequin glitch people have mentioned in comments fixed now?

4. What does taking care of it mean? Changing it's clothes? Moving it around? Feeding it?

Ok, I had a scare or two, cool. But how do I stop it from multiplying?
I have seen more than 3 dozen around my base and while I eliminate 9 more come out

As much as I like this mod, they duplicate way too much near by.

literally minutes after posting that i got my first fred encounter, and yeah it seems im right. she just chilling.

ok so, you take care of an already existing manaquin (by swapping its clothes, carrying it around etc,) and then it starts to move about on its own, appearing in random places? thats what i can tell anyway, i havent had any fred experiences myself yet.

well first I was chilling in my base when suddenly when I was not looking 4 other mannequins just spawned out of nowhere including a mannequin I destroyed earlier in my play-through and when I
destroyed those ones more appeared it ended up breaking my game.
