Update pls

Hey it's no problem! Life happens, besides someone posted an updated patch for the last version of the game in the comment somewhere, ans it seems to work alright.

I'm really sorry.

Combining the three games, I played almost a thousand hours of TW: Warhammer, and eventually it loses its spice when all campaigns begin to feel the same. I'm very picky regarding the factions I play and I've played the hell out of them. The third game focuses almost entirely on Chaos, which is something I've got absolutely no interest in playing as.

This mod was always a passion project, and I just don't have the same "love" or "freshness" I had for the game 3 years ago. The subpar AI, the padded difficulty settings, and every campaign becoming purely siege battles from turn 100 onwards doesn't help either.

Should something like a High Elf rework, Neferata, or something like that come out, I may come back, play it, reignite that passion and update this mod, but not right now. Furthermore, I am working full time now, in complete contrast to the amount of free time I had back then.

sucks this was abandoned, looks really cool, especially the madusa.

NOT going to sue you! Hahahaha There is a compatibility glitch between my mods and yours so your characters otherwise cannot be used with my mods. I have been using my unpublished version of Dark Ladies with Anarsis included for myself for 6 months now and asking if I may upload and tag back to here and Luminosity's upload as well for credits.

Alternatively if the "Legend Medusa_Anarsis" command doesn't work, or if Anarsis mysteriously disappears for you as she did me, here is something else you can use:

agent dignitary medusa_anarsis

I tried typing Legend medusa_anarsis into the console box, it did nothing??

Steps for if you're playing as a Dark Elf faction yet want the Medusa

1. Download the Console Commands Mod.

2. Enter game

3. Select the lord or region you want her to spawn at.

4. The Console Command button will add a new icon top left, click it and you'll see a small box.

5. Click the box and enter "Legend medusa_anarsis" without quotations.

6. Basically done. As for recruiting the lord, use "Spawn Araveena_foot" (Havent personally tested that one myself thou)

For the time being I'm simply unable to keep it up to date due to real life stuff going on, personal feelings regarding TWW3 aside.

@LuminousClarity you're free to update it so it works with the current versions and upload it. Please do remember to credit me, however.

@LuminousClarity Might as well, I think Better to have the mod available for people to play than not.

I know a lot of modders are leaving and are not enthused with this game anymore, so if the original modder does not wish to redownload and update this, I can reupload and keep this up to date.

soon update ?

One of my favorite factions! It was working OK until 4.02, and now Anarsis will not embed. I appreciate the time that JillSandwich puts into this, so I look forward to an update when they are able.

I'm sorry everyone, I haven't really been feeling WH3 for a couple of months now. I'll try to make an update that makes the game compatible with the current patch, but not much else after that.

I wish there was a way to create a custom legendary lord in game, would add so much replayability to the game. Excited to try this one!

Could This be Made compatible with "Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords" please? right now even if you accept refugees from deadwood, They don't show up in your lord list

This mod works great for me. No bugs. One of my favorite factions overall! I have a bunch of dark elf mods and many others, and no apparent conflicts. If this one appears to crash your game, you likely have a mod conflict. Try loading this one higher to give it priority.

Anarsis dies before he can confederate Araneesa and does not return. I noticed that the Medusa was listed as a Medusa unit and not a hero on the Dark Elf chart. Could that explain the immortality bug?
Otherwise, no way to recruit them otherwise?

Seeing unique OCs with their own campaigns (whether mechanically complex or simple) is always pretty fun, and it's nice to see the creativity behind them. Kind of like finding a good novel by an author that hasn't blown up in popularity. Will add it to the mod list and give it a go.

Dunno if anyone has said this yet but when using this mod in a multiplayer game adding the hero to your army will crash the other players game client. Happens to me every time I try to use it :(

I am busy with an university thesis right now, I'll update the mod as soon as I am able to. Araveena should already be immortal, but I'll check out the mod again to see if something broke.

Just wanted to say this always was such a cool mod, hoping it gets an update. DE are in a better spot now gameplay-wise, so I'm looking forward to another run as the Deadwood Sentinels, eventually.

Hands down one of the coolest looking characters in-game or modded. I was going to ask the same as Lucius. I believe you can just give her the immortal trait already unlocked or the trait that instead of dying they will be wounded instead. glhf

I'll try to look into how that mod works. I've got this mod a bit abandoned sadly and with the new updates I hope nothing explodes when I open it on the mod creator.

Would love if this lord was recruitable through "recruit defeated Legendary Lords" because i find myself having to go out of my way to keep her alive until i can confederate her
