I'm gonna copy over Webber's lines I think. I'll adjust them to suit one person instead of Webber and make a few custom ones for more common actions. Webber's lines are the most playful and childlike, so I think it'd work the best without doing it completely from scratch.

Making nearly 5,000 quotes for a character who barely speaks (And thusly has little in the way of a personality or any mannerisms) is honestly just rough. I can't really say I'd blame you for just making her have a small pool of random strings or just not speak at all.

I'm hoping so, the issue is Hat Kid doesn't really talk much in her game to begin with, and doing voice lines for this game is very tedious.

When the mod is finished, will there be more custom examination quotes.

The game is generally consistent in pretty much all values, as far as how they number things. It's surprisingly not-random.

That's a good point, and honestly I'd been thinking of buffing her default stomach a little in preparation for the big update I'm working on. I think I'll up her default Sanity and Hunger to 125. The only reason I chose 120 was because I'm a Willow main and really like that sanity max.

Also I'd never noticed the weapon thing before, I thought the values were purely based on health/damage thresholds.

If I'll be completely honest? It's a lack of consistency that just kind of bothers me. It's not really important, but it's worth noting that *only* Willow and Wes have odd stat values like that. Willow is the only one of the two who really bothers me, since at least Wes is all 113, instead of just randomly having one value that's only 5 more or less. I'm not super serious, but I do kind of wish more people stuck to multiples of 25, like how weapon damage sticks to multiples (or half-multiples) of 17.

Why, lol? Other characters in the vanilla game don't do that, Hat Kid's sanity is identical to Willow's.

Also you can change them to whatever in the mod config.

Okay, thanks for the info. This is probably not a visual bug actually, just an oversight I made while coding. I'll get it fixed next time I put out an update.

yes, only when you load in a world sanity auras vulnerability doesn't work unless you equip hat once

i think it's visual thing, cuz it bugs only when you join a world, after you equip your hat at least once all works as intended

If I understand correctly, you're saying if you load into a world without a hat then it doesn't work?

maybe it's a visual bug, maybe not. when you are not wearing a hat, when night/even comes, your 200% sanity aura vulnerability doesn't work, so like you're vulnerable to night like any other character. but when you equip - unequip your hat vulnerability "turns on", so you need to wear something to prevent it, like said in the description

Hi there, my mod doesn't really touch crafting at all, so I doubt it's that. Try disabling other mods you have installed, like anything that changes the crafting UI or recipes.

Oh, and make sure you don't have the top hat in your hat slot, you can't craft using a hat you're wearing.

I'd love to add more outfits, but I'm not an artist myself, and it's hard to find an artist willing to draw entire character outfit sprite sets.

As far as the hat goes, that's kinda clever and I'll be putting that on the list of possible features for if I ever get back into making this mod properly.

I fixed a common crash people were having when enabling the mod, it's Klei's fault that it was happening the first place but I should have worked around it from the beginning.

my situation is i play on dedicated server, and me as the admin uses wigfrid, where my friend uses hat kid,, and he constantly freeze himself when he just want to unequip it

and yes if you can make myfriend unequip on right clicking the invslot, and instead use Z itll be awesome!

I'm sort of piggybacking off of an already existing mechanic that isn't used too much in the game called usable item, to change the key would take a bit more programming than I have time for at the moment, though I may be able to make a server-side setting to disable the right click activation entirely and relay solely on the keybind, if that works for you.

I don't know that someone else find it annoying, but can you make the hat activation by other method? I always accidentally use them when I want to unequip it :(

Make sure you have the other two required mods installed, otherwise the mod won't function properly. There's an issue on Klei's side right now where enabling a mod without it's required mods installed will crash the game, unfortunately I can't do much to fix this.
