There simply isn't an .asset file defining entities for savannah worlds, so they don't show up.

how come i don't see the textures in game? I load an old save that wasn't modded, and i can't see any changes.

Because the file size on Steam isn't accurate. The file is smaller.

Possibly dumb question: Why does this mod have a larger filesize than PD's 4K pack, and more than 10 times the size of the base game 4K pack?

Hey, you could probably just target 3.7.* rather than a specific version number, since I dunno what they could possibly do in minor version edits to break this mod, to reduce your workload and make the launcher stfu. Cheers, love this mod.

It does work with 3.6, there should be no issues. Nuclear fire isn't included. It's something I'd like to work on eventually.

Texture mods can be used with any version of the game. Immersive Galaxy is 4 years old and still works.

It shouldn't. As far as I know those auras are not configured by the planet entity itself, which is the only thing this mod changes.

@[EASY] AstroCat No, this isn't save game compatible. You will need to start a new game to load the new textures in your galaxy.

@Lordlony I mean, it's adding more data to your game to process, so it will. But 2K should not be too graphic intensive.

1k would be lower than the base game textures, so not really. It would look pretty bad.

@dangkelana Yes, this is achievement compatible
@Protodeus you only change the gfx/ folder so it is fine. Achievements are only disabled if you change the common/ events/ or map/ folders

I believe it is, because it only changes textures, but not 100% sure. Better Arcologies is not.

There's an issue with machine worlds not emitting their default ambience. On another note, would be nice to see a rework for hiveworlds.

Honestly unless you zoom in really close there’s not much difference from far away. 2K is the base game resolution.
