What exactly Serum or Medicine does?

Playing with this mod on build 41. I could hang a flask on my belt before. Now I can't. Maybe I had some mod? Does anyone know?

only since i noticed it didn't work, is this not compatible with Simple Sling? It does work with Noir's Attachments and ClothesBoxRedux (canteens can go on the Webbing in that mod)

hey, i loved this mod back in b41. it helped me greatly with the high thirst negative trait. when do you think you could make an update to this mod?

When I get round to updating this, I'll add a basic crafting method for 41 and hopefully allow proper mixing in 42 assuming 42 came with the liquid framework they promised.

Just gotta wait for my friend since I know nothing about code myself and there's going to be a bunch of new stuff with 42 for sure

To everybody who have a problem with using Jerry cans/don't have the option to refuel take gas. It conflicts with "Let Me Think" mod

Can't put bourbon in the flask in the B41 version, it was just too weird. You should be able to do that in B42 I hope, when I get around to updating it. Thanks!

canteens and 42s

@Greb they did add belt Canteens, but they are 500ml from what I've seen so far. For reference water and soda bottles come in 1000ml & 2000ml and from what Ive seen & only the canteen can be put on the belt. If you can even find one that is.

Hopefully this mod will be updated for Build 42, it is one of my favorite mods. Please, when possible, I would love you to update it :)

@Greb They didn't add canteens and such into the new update. I think this mod is very much needed in B42, at least for me. I can't live without the big jerry cans and big water jugs!!

It'll be updated eventually. Although how much of this mod is even needed in B42? I thought that update added canteens and hipflasks and all kinds of things, right? Haven't had a chance to play it yet

Other than taking the Organised trait for like +30% container capacity, I'm not sure.

I think the pot method is the best way but very slow, is there a way in which i could increase the carrying capacity of a microwave?

Might be a little too big to fit in a microwave. You probably wanna purify the water in a pot first or something, on the stove / in the oven.

Maybe the Organised trait or only filling the bottle part-way might let you, though.

No idea. I never did find out. There was some conflict that prevented you from refilling gas cans or doing stuff with cars, but I honestly could not tell you what mod it was that was doing it. Been a thorn in my side forever, but it's probably something that adds new right click actions / prompts to the game or something.

Maybe. The idea was I wouldn't need to do that because the devs update which comes with a new liquid framework letting you put any liquid in any container and even mix stuff was right around the corner.

That was like two years ago now, lol. That update itself will also come with an official flask, no need for the one in this mod. So I put low priority on making a band-aid fix by simply letting you craft an empty flask + bourbon bottle into a flask with bourbon, which is how it'd have to be.

Sorry that you can't refill the flask, for all this time. I'll add it in in the next update, but no ETA on that as I haven't touched Zomboid or modded anything in forever.

I think it's a mod conflict but I don't remember what with. Used to get a lot of reports about that, but the mod works fine when it's being tested, or in my multiplayer games with friends. I think it has something to do with mods that change the building or crafting menu, not 100% sure.

Gym bottles should only appear in schools and gym lockers. They might appear in other lockers, such as golf ones. Waterskins I don't think even spawn at all and have to be crafted, but I might have added them to survivalist and prepper loot stashes, I can't remember.

If you've ever raided a hospital or medical place, you might have found those glass fridges with water in them? That's where medicinal canteens spawn. They also appear in ambulances. Shouldn't appear anywhere else, I think..

Big water bottle is found where regular water bottles are found, as well as in office break room cabinets. They're supposed to be quite rare, but...who knows with how this game handles lootgen.

And canteens pop up in army and prepper loot, or in ready-prep pawn shops. The exception is the tartan camping canteen which can also appear in civilian and camper loot.

is this a good mod. does the water containers spawn in the world and when they do spawn do they make sense. it wouldnt make sense for a gym bottle to spawn in a warehouse or a water skin in a town. a good place for the waterskin to spawn would be cabins or campgrounds

I dunno. It should be compatible with Noirs Belts and Bags and Authentic Backpacks, but I never included any ItemTweaker stuff for other mods. Sorry about that

Yeah I think so, it has a compatibility patch for it built in. Apparently some of the bottles don't line up right though.
