Thank you for finding that subset. I’ll check if there’s anything I can do on this mod’s end to fix it.
I haven't been able to replicate the loading issue that's been reported. Could you find the smallest subset of your mod list which replicates the issue?
That mod depends on the buff's actual index for rendering the sun behind the buff icon.
This mod uses some code injections which result in the index not matching where it's actually drawn.
The mod's author has reached out to me regarding making the two mods more compatible, but it's been put on the backburner due to other priorities.

Can this be resolved?
Much appreciated. It looks like one of the code injections that this mod performs isn't working, although the stacktrace from the error seems to indicate that another mod is also trying to perform a code injection there.
If I could see the entire client.log file that you got that from, I could investigate to see if it's a problem with this mod or due to a mod incompatibility. Go to my Discord server at https://discord.gg/FemPG7eev4 and post the file in the #commission-help channel.

I need the actual error, not the text about mismatched versions.
That isn't really helpful. The actual error is located below that version mismatch text. Please report that instead.
The eye only appears when you've toggled the "buff hiding mode" via that small icon button.
I'm using Calamity + QoL. Maybe it's hidden somewhere and I can't see.
Click the small buff icon button to the left of the large buff icons to toggle what's mentioned in the mod's description.
Previous reports seem to indicate that this is due to an incompatibility with Calamity Infernum Mode. I'll take a look when I have time, but I can't guarantee that it can be fixed.

If you could mention the actual problem or at least the error message, that would be helpful.
I'm not sure if this is fixable on your end, besides disabling one of the mods.
Ah, I see what the issue is. One of the code injections that Enhanced Buff Display uses – specifically, the one responsible for drawing the button next to the buff icons – is failing because the method it's modifying has changed due to the code injection from Calamity Infernum Mode.

I believe it is just saying the tModLoader version is incorrect which you said should be ignored but it auto disables itself am Im not sure how to make it stay enabled.
I'm not aware of any changes to Infernum as of recent, so if it's not an outdated mod file problem, then I'll have to see the actual error to be able to give an answer. (Note: the text about tModLoader versions should be ignored if you're using the latest build of this mod)
The mod's latest public build was built against v2023.11 tModLoader. You have a manual install of this mod in Documents/My Games/Terraria/tModLoader/Mods
Might be an issue on my end, I just wanted to rule out all possibilities.
Thanks for the awesome mod by the way!
