Any way to make them spawn on, say, turn 5 instead? I tried adjusting the turn timer inside the script but i don't think it works correctly as I got the "people are searching for chaos arifacts" message at turn 5 but havent actually seen any locations yet five 10 turns later.

love the mod. i was looking into the Maggot Lords lore and noticed potential for a separate mod.

this seems to be crashing my game, unless its a conflict with another mod. I havent used any mods post-fix that i didnt use pre-fix

I have checked all units and couldn't reproduce the issue... Maybe it's another mod that gives the spell to one of the units.

In any case, if you reproduce the issue please upload a save file performed before the battle so that I can check what's wrong exactly.

Happened to me too in a Nurgle campaign. I thought it was some kind of ranged attacks, or special ability so the battle would be harder.

sometimes a unit in the Chaos army has fireball as a bound spell, but because they are a regular unit not a hero this means every individual in the regitment fires one fire ball each, which can instant kill basically anything in the game

I updated the mod to add a new marker (with new possible spawn locations) and a new item for players using the Immortal Empires Expanded mod. Nothing changes at all for the normal Immortal Empires campaign.

@>> Keep it Clean <<, I didn't try an Immortal Empires Expanded campaign yet so I can't confirm if it works. That being said I don't think the IEE mod changed the vanilla world in a way that could break the Chaos Treasures.

However, if you start in one of the new zones like Ind or Khuresh, nearby chaos treasures will probably be a bit far. When I have time, I will have to add new markers in those areas with probably an 8th item.

You start at the original location, but then manually change to any settlement you want, leaving original capital in ruins or switching places with owner of settlement you chose and get a new capital on turn 1.

So I guess the stuff will spawn near the original capital. Thanks for the tip though.

@Iolaus, Good question, I never tried the Change Starting Settlement mod. If it triggers the change before the campaign start (or before my mod), treasures should spawn near the current capital.

Until someone or I confirm it, If you want to be 100% sure they will spawn at the current capital, you can play at least 1 turn without the Chaos Treasures mod, save the game then activate it.

Do the treasures spawn near current capital at turn 30, or near the original?

@Lukasao, The mod doesn't care which faction you play so it should be fine for chaos dwarfs. I am more worried the changes to the chaos dwarfs areas that could make some markers unreachable but I didn't have time to check yet. ^^

If you want to use the Chaos Treasures mod in multiplayer, I just made an update to the other mod that supports it :

I don't think I will make the "closer to the player" version compatible with multiplayer, at least not in the near future.

@Dirty I tested Valkia and it works fine. If you want the markers to be closer to the player make sure the "normal" version of this mod is disabled, they are not meant to be active at the same time.

@Ooh-la-la, It's GAGA!! It would require adding new possible locations for markers. Unfortunately, it takes a very long time to get and check correct coordinates for the markers since it must be done manually (to make sure they are placed in an area that can be reached by the player and not in a mountain, city, etc.). So there is no plan for now to do that but maybe in the future if I have time.

Not sure this works. They spawn 1 per red square pretty much as shown in the screenshot. Playing as valkia and first treasure was found way down past the wood elves for example. And no others around in this red square area.
