Is this compatible with faction unlock/TPY mods?
cian.mcbride 7 月 31 日 上午 9:18
does this still work or nah?
Global reforms are not changed so factions like Armenia won't get their reforms any sooner
all Christ-like 2024 年 1 月 24 日 下午 12:39
Still works. Need to start a new campaign tho. Got my thorax reforms 60 turns in.
Mod still works for Rome despite it saying, that it takes the normal amount of turns and imperium level to get the next reform, I'm on turn 90 and have gotten to Marian.
@Travesuras Scott I started a quick roman campaign but it still says that the reforms occur at the normal turns/imperium, didnt tested it but I think it doesn't work unless they occur despite what it shows
hi, does it still work?
Armenia
Average Gary  [
What factions do you mean?
Space_Lettuce_OG 2023 年 9 月 22 日 下午 7:18
Do factions not mentioned also have earlier reforms? If no, then why'd you leave them out?
this still works for rome at least
@Angry I made a quick video explanation for you

Angry 2023
skr How did you do it?
Average Gary  [
ah nice!
Ok, this doesn't seem to work on the latest version. Thankfully, I found the way to modify the reform conditions and it proved to be super easy to do
Hey does this still work after the newest dei update?
I have already written elsewhere, please, do 12tpy version of this mod. thanks.
Average Gary  [

god job
Average Gary  [
I think Armenia has special reforms that are unchanged by the mod. still, always check before a campaign if it is above the DeI mods.
I'm playing this mod now and I'm at turn 51 as Armenia but no reforms.
Average Gary  [
Grif, as said in the discription, I don't really mod anymore. I could help you to do it if you want :)
Average Gary  [
Jeffrey, I don't know what could be causing problems, I'm sorry
Could make an alternative mod to this that has later, more historically accurate reform times? I'm tired of seeing imperial era Romans fighting Carthage.
it create events that gives the campaign more flavor
Average Gary  [
could have something to do with the reduced research, what does the event roulette do?
or mods that reduce research and construction time
i have a mod that called event roulette, is that the reason ?
Average Gary  [
i dont know, it should never do that, what other mods do you have?
why do i have all my reform in my first term ?
Hi Gary,
With DEI there is the Tech that makes you upgrade your units once it reached the reforms. It states in this research the vanilla reform turn time and imperium requirements and it will keep showing vanilla values with this mod activated. But the mod works perfectly fine. So if other people read it. The values of these mod work. Even if it shows the vanilla requirements in the tech tree.
Average Gary  [
I have no idea, I never knew it said anything in the research. I assume it isn't changed in the research as that is linked to other parts of the mod, but again I don't know :)
Hi Gary,
Is it supposed to show the changes in the research? It keeps saying in the research Turn 50 imperium lvl 3 and turn 120 imperium 5.
Average Gary  [
You need the DeI files, you can find them in steam/steamapps/workshop/content then the highest one. From there you need to look in every file folder until you find the one with __divide_et_impera_010_part1.pack open that one with PFM.
the files you need to edit are lua_scripts/reforms.lua
if you have opened that one it is explained in the file how to edit them.
where can you find the files to make your own version of the mod?
Average Gary  [
because I don't really play the game anymore I won't put this much effort and time in it, but I do encourage you to try for yourself (I can teach you the basics, and what you need). As I do think it is possible to change, but searching for it takes a long time :)
Average Gary  [
unfortunately you do, special reforms have their own place in the files separate from normal reforms. even something simple as changing the turn number needs to be done in that file. As I don't know where the file can be found I cant change it.
It should be possible to change it but it cost a lot of work (opening all files that look remotely usefull and searching through the whole file for the turn number) and it I don't even know if it is as simple as a number.
First of all, thank you a ton for doing this at all and for taking the time to answer me!

Second, what a pitty,

Armenia has:

Iranian reforms happen for this faction by turn 65.
Imperial reforms happen after securing Parsa, Nisa and Seleukeia and after turn 211.

Turn 65 is ok, but my god turn 211... the other conditions are ok and can remain, perchance its just the 211 that could be changed? Or maybe i imagine it to simple...
Average Gary  [
No, their reforms are based on a number of things like settlements captured, battles won/fought and wars with specific nations. I dont know how to change that.
Could you per chance make them earlier too? :)
Average Gary  [
nope they have special reforms
Is it intended that it doesnt do anything for atropakan ?
Average Gary  [
Thanks!!
works on rome turn 25, havent tested further as even that took long :D
Canadian Ninja 2022
Weird, since the website has the Player getting them first in all cases.
Average Gary  [
I numbers listed are accurate, I copied them from the old mod. I don't remember my reasoning behind the differences for AI and player, but in vanilla AI reforms earlier than a player could so I reflected that.
I think Carthage's second reform is the same as or connected to the greek reforms. In the files of DeI Carthage has only one reform, so I didn't change that. I think it is connected to the greek reforms.
Canadian Ninja 2022
Are the numbers listed accurate? AI Rome gets imperial reforms 40 turns earlier than a player Rome would? Carthage still has one reform for some reason?
